Good morning. Happy to join the bachelorette party. Here's our entertainment, he also agreed to me my date! ~ LOL
Saturday from 10-10:30 I busily scrapbooked 18 pages. Sunday was almost a crash and burn, because of the icky weather, but after a nap, I rallied and cleaned out my closets and drawers and put my winter clothes away. I sure hope Jolene's right about the 70 degree weather, because all my wool sweaters are tucked away.
I did take a walk yesterday, it started warming up around 5 p.m., and I was sweating by the time I got back to the house! DH got his exercise in by chipping away at ledge that is cropping up inside the barn floor. (If rocks were gold, we'd be millionaires).
Ol' Prince bought his motorcycle. He informed me on Saturday night. I promptly took a sleeping pill and went to bed. OMG.
Lil' Prince is waiting on the title for his "new" truck. It will take at least 2 weeks, Augusta is not known for it's speedy competence. Meanwhile, mommy has to share her Chevy. I've been getting all kinds of graduation schedules, etc. in the mail from the school. I guess that means I can safely send out his graduation party invitations, although I may email the guidance counselor just to make sure! LOL
Change of plans for my 50th party. We were going to go to a restaurant, but can't find one that I want to go to that will actually take reservations! The beach restaurants are like that....first come, first served. So DH is planning a BBQ, and doing all the work....I was nervous when he suggested it, figuring I'd be cleaning and cooking for MY party. But he's got potato salad, macaroni salad, chicken and burgers planned; got my mom to bring her Florida salad, my sister's bringing chips, etc., and his sister is brining crackers/cheese. The other sister is bringing beer, I guess! I'll go to the liquor store.....Cosmos are calling me!
As of Saturday, I was down 12 lbs. I did try on the graduation dress. It's suck-it-in city, let me tell ya. I have 6 more weeks, and I will need every moment of that 6 weeks in order to make sure that dress slides on. Fingers crossed. I will have to walk every day, that's for sure.
Well, work is calling me. I'll try to check in later!
And Jen.....you don't know what true happiness is until you get married. Then it's too late! ha ha
PammieJ.
God put me on this earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Right now I am so far behind that I will never die.
