Jolene I don't see how it could be 1/2 point either, unless you make mini muffins.

    3 cups all bran

    21/2 cups water

    11/2 tsp. bp

    1 tsp vanilla

1 box BettyCrocker low fat mix

    Hi Healthy Ones!  Cool

Happy Mommy's Day Tomorrow to all Mommies! Cake

Speaking of Mommies, mine is here and we have been having fun. I took her shopping and to lunch on Thursday and  DH took her to some stores yesterday(Friday) while I was at Miss Nancy's. :)

This morning, Mom started the eye drops, etc. to prepare for her cateract surgery on her right eye this Tues.

I have been busy, busy busy! Sorry I haven't been by much.  Sad

Happy Wedding Day JEN and DUSTIN !!! Woo Hoo! Guess you may be throwing the bouquet as I type! :)

Dusta, glad your Mom is doing better.

Jolene, sorry about DS's broken bone. Yuck. Have a fun day today!

    Waving to all others!

We are taking Mom, and all the kids to the Homeplace (quaint restaurant with homestyle food in a great setting) for supper so need to get off here and get ready.

    Hugs,

Here is a link to the Homeplace. See how quaint?  :)   The veggies that come with the meats are homestyle foods like mashed potatoes, green beans, mac-n-cheese, pintos, etc, ...lots of food served homestyle in serving bowls so all can help themselves. Pray that I don't overeat. lol

Good morning everyone!   Want to wish you all a happy Mother's Day, hugs for you and your Moms!    We don't normally see our Mom's today, and this year MIL is in Vegas and my mom is headed North to visit with friends.     Not sure if Tim has anything planned or not.   I've already gotten my card from Jake on Friday, he painted a teapot and there's a poem and teabag attached.    Very cute.      Ideally, I would have slept in, but that hasn't happened, well, ever   LOL   In my life, I've never slept past 10 oclock.      :)

Dusta, yes, that was the recipe, even as mini muffins I still couldn't get it to come out to .5 points.   I LOVE the BC low fat brownie mix though.  Even with a few teaspoons of mini chocolate chips sprinkled over the top, they are still very low point.

Muril, thank you for the card, you made my morning   :)   I'm so glad you are having a nice visit with your Mom!

I had the best lunch yesterday, I don't usually try anything new, but was feeling adventurous.    We ate at Unos, and I had the Grilled rosemary chicken with a side order of Brown rice with cranberries and mango.    SOOO good.    I cut the chicken up and mixed it in with the rice, and still brought half the meal home.   Definitely something I want to try and duplicate, though I am so rice incompetent, it's not funny   :)

Seems like Jake may be sleeping in today, maybe I'll try to sneak back into bed for a while    :)

Happy Mother's Day!! It is chilly here today, had to come back in a put on long pants and a jacket when I went out to ride the bike.
