Happy Cinco de Mayo! And, thanks to Arizonacook, Amy, I have something to serve. I will put on my big sombrero, and make the fried ice cream, that is a given! The salsa looks great, and will be so colorful! Later in the week, I will try to make the raspberry bars, tweaking it just a bit by using some seedless preserves.......maybe cherry, even. I wonder if peach would work. Hmmm?

Thanks Amy! They all look great!

I received my first set of recipes for this month today from Marcia.  THANK YOU SO MUCH.  It's as if you picked them out just for me...Mexican Tortilla Meatball Soup...my favorite. I can't wait to try them.  And yes, any weather is soup weather! Thanks again! Karen

Thank you beecuzican_PA for the great-sounding recipes and the cute recipe cards.  I can't believe you mailed them on the 5th and I received them on the 9th.  DH and I eat a lot of chicken so the first thing we're going to try is your recipe for Chicken and Rice Krispies.  That looks so good!  The Lobster Newburg also looks good.  We even have a frozen lobster in the freezer all ready to go - with Quick Apple Crisp for dessert!

    Thanks again, Karen!

I feel so bad!  As I was just going through some bills from a week ago that got hidden away, I discovered an envelope with April recipes in it from Williewonka.  I am so sorry for the late thank you.  But the recipes all look wonderful- I love new veggie recipes.  Thank you so much Williewonka!

I'm so glad that both of you received my recipes already.  Only one more I sent that should have also received them by now, I hope.  Diana, that really was quick to go to the UK.  I wasn't sure about postage so I asked Amy since she send to you last month and she said she just added some extra postage, so I did the same!

I hope you both enjoy the recipes.  And as for the Rice Krispie chicken, Diana, that was a favorite of mine since I was just a small child in grade school.

    Take care!

    Hey Karen,

It is funny how it is cheap and the mail moves faster to Diana in the UK then it is for you to mail me or vice versa.   Surprise
