Run together recipes--is there a cure?

Many times when I copy and paste one of my recipes to a post  the ingredients are all lined up like we like to see recipes (each ingredient on a separate line) but when it gets posted, all the ingredients run together rather than line up like I thought they would.

Is there a cure for this?

     Thank you in advance.

I have Mac computers and use Safari....I hate it when I can't post a recipe and have it look like a recipe.  I am now using Firefox and that will let me post without everything running together.

I have the same problem.  So, I can't help.  I've edited and still no good results.  I hope there is an answer, because I just don't post recipes.

I use Firefox and Word and they post just fine.

    Oatmeal Cake

    Preheat oven to 375º

    1 ¼ cup hot water

    ½ cup butter

    1 cup oatmeal

    2 eggs

    1 cup flour

    2 teaspoons baking powder

    ½ teaspoon salt

    1 cup sugar

    1 cup brown sugar

    1 teaspoon cinnamon

    1 teaspoon vanilla

Pour hot water over oatmeal and butter.  Let set for about 10 minutes or until butter melts. Mix in rest of the ingredients.

Pour into a greased (I use Pam) 8” X 8” or equivalent Pyrex dish.  Bake for 45 minutes.

I have the same exact problem. I use Word and Internet Explorer. I have a new Dell with Vista and use Internet Explorer. I have tried using both the old and the 2007 version of Word, no improvement. I can't post recipes here any more either. I don't have this problem on other sites, like Cooking.com.
