I have to tell you about Mouse (whether you want to hear it or not! Smile ). Yesterday, when Steve drove into the field with the tractor, Mouse was scared to death from the sound. He was up on the back of the couch when he drove in and Mouse scooted right under the couch. I looked and his eyes were like saucers. Finally got him out, but he wouldn't even consider going outside. Later, when they were farther back in the field he ventured out the door, but only his front paws. When he felt it was safe he went on out. Later he was out on the deck when the tractor came up close by the house. Back under the couch! He is not used to strange sounds!! Later in the day DS came over with his diesel pickup and horse trailer! Back under the couch again!  He finally came out in back with us late in the day, but everytime the tractor came up from the back of the farm, he kept his eye on it. Today, Mouse would go out on the deck, but no farther, until late afternoon when they were done here.

LILY  Poor Mouse.  Buttercup hates noises, she barks like crazy, especially if it's thundering & lightening.

    Good night to those leaving.

That sounds like a good price Mary. I am spoiled I like the jumbo eggs. I bought some large eggs a few weeks ago when I was doing potato salad for the church. Those poor little eggs look so small I swear they would have been considered small a few years ago. I looked at them and though Pullet eggs LOL .

Another cat story. I was afraid I was going to watch Goldie be killed yesterday. I was sitting on the deck when I heard the mailman coming. Looked up and Goldie was walking along the edge of the road across from our place. He pulled up to the box and I couldn't see her. So afraid she was going to walk right in front of his car. Luckily, he reached over to the back seat and was sorting through stuff. I saw her come around the back end BUT then she headed right under his car between the back tires. I was sure she was doomed. My feet were aching to badly I could hardly stand much less ever get out there in time. And she doesn't hear! The mailman wouldn't pay any attention either! Luckily he just pulled straight out and took off. She wasn't touched. I think I was just holding my breath! If he had turned his wheels I'm sure he would have hit her.  That must have been her 20th of nine lives!!!

I've been paying $1.49 for medium eggs, which are what I have bought for many years.

Grammy, he is just living toooooooooooo far out in the sticks!  Smile

Oh Lily how scary. I have always had to be very careful with Lady since she has never been able to hear. Maybe that is whay she is so attached to us she has never been able to go out exploring on her own.
