    Please pray--I heard from Banner

This has been the morning from a not very nice place until a minute ago.. I went to registry this morning to do the mandatories online and sign the papers for the safety thing and give them a copy of my vaccination papers.

Went over to other house as pastor and his wife were going to deliver chairs to the hourse.

Registry called and wanted me to work 11 a to 7 pm, then called back and said the place had already filled it. Then they called and wanted me to work at Phx Baptist from 12:15 to 7:30. Got to parking lot when they called and said Baptist had called them and told them a staff nurse had showed up at the last second. Hopefully they won't call me to work from 3-11:30 but I don't think I will be answering the phone if I can help it under these circumstances.

That is the bad part. Here are the 3 good things.

I got over to the other house and the desk the contractor from church gave me is just beautiful.

The pastor and his wife gave me a beautiful ivy and some sort of purple flower arrangement in an antique looking wishing well for nurses day.

I just found a message in my answering machine from the lady I interviewed with at Banner last week. She heard back from Rehab which is the place I worked at for Banner when I was a new grad. I knew they had a day shift opening, didn't know if they would look at me for Tier 1 or not because I can't take the part time job. I knew for sure they would remember me. They loved me. It is spinal cord injury unit, head injury unit (from car wrecks usually), stroke rehab and general rehab like after amputations, knee/hip replacements, trauma, burns, etc. Get a lot of practice at dressing changes, trach care, and all sorts of things like that. They said they are interested in interviewing me for Tier 1, I am playing phone tag now with the lady from Banner again to try to figure out a time for an interview. The lady that was the charge nurse is now the senior clinical manager. Its a hard spot because at least when I was there the RNs usually have like 8 or 10 patients apiece and there are LPNs that give the meds and do some of the dressing changes.

Also a lot of lifting and things. I was always physically tired after a shift there, but I liked it there, I just didn't want to work full time and had to go to float team in order to work less hours. Tier 1 only required 3 12 hour shifts a month and 1 weekend shift every two months, though I would try to work more than that.

Anyway, I know you have been praying, but can you please pray that God will let me know one way or the other ? Thank you. I will try to get over to other house later and get a picture of the desk and the flower arrangement.
