How this new board actually works?

It says you have to join in a group to participate? How do you join a group? I can't see where, and do you have to join ALL the different ones, ie; appatizers, recipes, main dishes, ect.... I would use this more but it seems so confusing.

It used to be so easy, Help.   Thanks, Chris

I've gone to reply to two differing threads and suddenly it said I had to join the group.  I followed the link to join and that was that...nothing else to do.

So maybe it's not as difficult as you're making it to be!!

You join a Group (Budget Living, Crafters' Chat, etc.) to post by clicking on the Group you want and then on "Join This Group."  You can read and post on all the forums (Kitchen Chat, Appetizers, etc.) without joining but you have to join a particular Group to be able to post.  Pick a Group you would like to join and then you can post.  Not everyone joins every Group.  The Forums are open to all as you are interested in reading/posting.

You can post on any of the recipe categories, without joining a group.  I think you can browse through the different groups, but have to join if you want to post to them.  Hover your mouse over the Community section at the top, and click on forums.  It will give you a list of different forums that you can pick from.
