    Cake Mix Bread

    Makes 2 loaves or 18 to 20 rolls

    4 or 5 cups flour

    2 pkg. yeast

    2 cups warm water

    1 small box Jiffy cake mix

    1 tsp. salt

    Sift together 3 cups flour, cake mix,yeast,and salt. Make a well in center, gradually add warm water and stir until all ingredients are damp, Beat well. add more flour and knead well. Let rise until double in bulk. make into 2 loaves ( or shape into rolls) and let raise again,

    Bake at 400 degrees, 15 to 20 minutes

    no, not that I noticed,  I made it to day and it it really good

    Did you use white or yellow jiffy cake mix? Jeanette

    I used white but you can use either one, a friend of mine here made her's with the yellow we liked both.
