I finally remembered to get lettuce seed and got it planted. The neighbor has peas coming up. I don't have any rhubarb but a friend usually gives me some. She has plenty

I guess I'd better go now.  Time to get ready for tomorrow.  Have no idea what to wear.  My wardrobe is like my cooking...same thing over and over again.

Sweet dreams to all, prayers and hugs, see you all in the morning.

Wanda, when we were kids we'd pull stalks of rhubarb, get a little cup of sugar and sit on the steps dipping the rhubarb in the sugar and eat it like that.  That was a big treat!

    Good night Wanda.

I have five plants and they are really going to town this year. Must be the cooler weather.

I have a big colander full of cut up rhubarb sitting on the sink. Will put it in a bag in the fridge and decide tomorrow to bake things with it.

Lily, I never did that. And, thinking about it made my lips pucker up right now.

Russell divided my plants and gave the new ones some good manure fertilizer and it is going to town. My neighbors like it, too, 'cause I share.

Nancy, I tried it last summer and it was ok, but somehow wasn't as good tasting as it was 65 years ago!  Smile Do you think our taste buds have changed? LOL

I think we'll stick to the sauce and pies.

    Good night, Grammy.

    Good night Grammy.

    Can't anyone stay up after 8 p.m. (9 p.m.)?

I hear DH making coffee and cutting into the coffee cake. We had no cake or cookies in the house today. Do you think he's been deprived?

I dozed off enough today, so I am doing good tonight.

Well, Lily, we can't have Marv being deprived. So, keep on making him all your goodies.

No naps here today. In fact no naps all this week. I think we nap, not because we are tired, just bored. Doing nothing is more tiring than working all day.  Hopefully, it will be nice enough tomorrow (and NO wind) so we can accomplish more.  I wrote a whole list of things I'd like to see done before working in the flower/veggie gardens. Hope I can cross them all off!

LOL, he gets grouchy when he looks around and finds no baking. I told him I couldn't work outside all day and bake, too. He wondered what I was doing all night long! LOL I suppose I could bake up something when I rouse up at 3 a.m.!!!!!!!!
