I certainly don't feel that anyone other than the moderator should have the right to judge and delete anyone else's post.
I have seen disagreements result simply over the source of a much liked recipe. No-one should be able to delete a post over some minor disagreement or personal dislike of a certain poster. Someone else may want that recipe or agree with the original poster. They should have that right.
We are adults here and have the option to SOB any post we wish to. We have certainly had many recent divisions in the board already ,People are different with various opinions , likes and dislikes. Why not respect or ignore what one wishes to?
I'd hate to have people inflicting their own whims and randomly deleting current and past posts others may enjoy responding to or are searching for using the Search engine..
I have noticed the ignore feature........ "Iggy" feature used in various pretty childish ways in some forums with certain posters repeatedly threatening to Iggy someone or urging others to "Iggy" them en masse . Basically attempting to turn other members against some individual. Sure would hate to see this board dissolve into that.
