    Love2Cook...another suggestion

It would be great if you would give consideration to adding the option to delete certain posts.  That "da 1 and only" is so annoying and actually hurtful.  He/she has been real busy today!  That way, when we revisit a certain post, the pest wouldn't be there.  Just a thought.  Thanks for creating this place for us.  Other than what I mentioned, I have no complaints!  I like the format just fine.  Apronstrings

Sometimes, it would be nice if we could delet an entire posts, one that we started.  I wish I could do that today!

The option to "Ignore"  would take care of it.  I have seen it on other forums.  You put that person on your ignore list and you never have to see any of their posts.

No one forces you to read any post.  You are free to ignore the post of a anyone you should choose.

I certainly don't feel  that anyone other than the moderator should have the right to judge and  delete anyone else's post.

I have seen disagreements result  simply over the source of a much liked  recipe. No-one should be able to delete a post over some minor  disagreement or  personal dislike of a certain poster. Someone else may want that recipe or agree with the original  poster. They should have that right.

We are adults here and have the option to SOB any post we wish to. We have certainly had many recent divisions in the board already ,People are different with various opinions , likes and dislikes. Why not respect or ignore what one wishes to?

I'd hate to have people inflicting their own whims and  randomly deleting current and past  posts  others may enjoy responding to or are searching for using the Search engine..

I have noticed  the ignore feature........ "Iggy"  feature used in various  pretty childish ways in some forums with certain posters  repeatedly threatening to Iggy someone or  urging others to "Iggy"  them en masse . Basically attempting to turn other members against some individual. Sure would hate to see this board dissolve into that.

Of course I'm not asking to be able to delete posts for the "master" board.  I'm not asking to be moderator.  I simply meant that I wish I could delete certain posts or replies just on my own computer.  I know there are boards where you can do that.  And as far as ignoring bothersome posters, I do that.  It's when the pests reply to other posts that you're forced to see them each time you go into that subject to read the newer replies.

nobody forces you to read any post and if a certain poster annoys you... SOB their reply.... nobody forces you to read them!
