    June Cleaver Club Thursday 5/8/08

Hello.jpg Hello image by Sundancer60Ladies,Hope you all are doing well.I'm really upset this morning.Daniel when last night to get the weedeater and do the yard and it was gone.He ask his dad if he had and he said no.Someone jumped our fench and much have stood on 1 of our cars got a builded and some how pulled the weedeater through a space in between the top of the garage doors. It was one of those weedeater that you can make into a saw.Daniel had been sawing limbs for me and broke off part of the blade. So he just set it in the garage. The only thing they can use it for is to saw unless they buy the weedeating part.It just seems like it is for us to have anything here lately.

What can't people get off there A's and work for there stuff just like we do.You can't even have a fench up to keep the lowlifes out.I'm wondering if it was some of the guy that took our trucks friends.

Well on a happier note I got a early Mother's day last night.James came in from work with me a new swing.Daniel is going to put it together for me today.I sure hope they don't steal that.

Sorry to be such a downer today.Love you all,

    Margie

Cherie-That urtalsound does look like a Teddy Graham. If it is a boy she can name it teddy.Love ya GF

    Hello-Diddl-sign_molly.gif Hello picture by my3sons_2006

Supposed to be nice today, but a little cooler, I believe in the 60's.

I need to go mow our lots in town. There are a couple rummage sales today, I'll probably stop at them on way home from taking boys to school.

Supper is chicken wings, I'll bbq them and in then put them in a sauce and heat through. Not sure what I'll make to go with.

{{margie}} - I don't blame you at all for being upset.  It's very unearthing when somebody invades your private space and then takes something too yet.  Make sure you file a police report.  Congrats on the neat Mom's Day gift.  That sounds so nice.  I'd love to have one too!

Hi   Margie  that is just terible about the weed eater,  that was a lot of work to get to it and it is broken too.  is your garage attached to the house...In Chardon we always have a trash pick up day in April or May where everyone puts out stuff they no longer want and it used to be so funny to see the parade of trucks going from house to house picking up stuff , it would go on all night, if you put washers and dryers or any big appliance it would be gone, we put out a table and I remember some older man came to the door and asked if it was okay for him to take.  It was the first time anyone asked because once things were on the tree lawn they were fair game....I use to think of the poor wives of the guys who were taking all the stuff, and where they were keeping it.  lawn mowers and lawn things were always the first to go, so I guess all stuff can be repaired.   So happy for your new swing but better chain it down.

Well some of the girls came over last night and were trying on their dresses, they all look so lovely, Kassies is very plain but it looks so nice on her.

Please pray for my DB he is going to the doctor today, he doesn't like this one, she is taking the place of the doctor he loves who had a auto accident and will not be back until June 1st.  He has so much faith in the other doctor and this one has been so cold.  He is beginning to loose is hair now and even tho it was expected it is still hard to see this happen...He has a beautiful head of hair so it will come back...

    well take care all   Shirley

Good morning all.  March winds are back.  My it's blowing up a storm.  Talking about some rain today and then lots tomorrow.  We drive tomorrow.  I'm off today.  Yippee!!!  Having my hair cut, running a few errands, packing.   Need to take care of plants not yet in the ground.  With storms coming up may bring them in until we get back.  Haven't heard from Ginger so that means she made it ok.  :)  Kristine's father's surgery went well, he will be in the hospital for 2days.

Margie, so sorry about the weed eater.  But what a neat Mother's Day gift.  Hope you enjoy it.

Shirley, will be praying for your DB.  Sorry he has to go to a doctor he doesn't like.  Glad Kassie's dress is done.  Have a great day.

Lisa, did the rain stay away so the kids could enjoy the game?

Sherry, hope your day goes will with dentist and interview.  Will be praying

Cherie, like you said a gummy bear or teddy graham.  Cute.  Is Kate going with you on vacation?  How about Andy?

Re: June Cleaver Club Thursday 5/8/08

Good morning, yes I am finally back.  Life got pretty busy for awhile & then our computer decided it wanted a vacation or something because it would act up.  I have missed being here.  I'm sure so much has happened while I was gone.  I did keep you all in my thoughts & prayers.

We had to have our German Shepard, put down a couple of weeks ago.  She was almost 13 which is a long life for a shepard.  I have had to have other animals put down in my life, but this one was the hardest.  From the day we got her, she chose me.  Everywhere I went, she would follow.  I couldn't even go to the bathroom without her coming with me.  I am thankful that she was a part of our life, and  I do have good memories of her.

Hello to all the new people, hope you are enjoying it here.  It is a great place to spend some time.

Margie, so sorry to hear about the theft.  I too wonder why some people do what they do. I bet you will get many hours of enjoyment from your new swing.  My sister & I use to sit on hers & talk the day away.

Patti, hope you find some good deals at the rummage sales today.  It looks to be a nice day for us.

Shirley, will keep your brother in prayer.

Well, I'd better get busy, the boys will be here in a little bit & I still need to get chores done.  Enjoy your day.

Margie, continue with the ice and heat and you could try one of those icy hot patches that you stick on?  Also Ibuprofen.   Looks like our weather will be similar to yours.  Started raining here and just brought my small plants for veggie garden in, slipped on the concrete and the plants went flying, well one tray.  Thankfully easily cleaned up and it was the porch where it's dirty anyways.  I'm a real clutz.   LOL

    Hi girls,

((Becky)) So sorry for your loss.  I know how much dogs can come to mean to a family.

Margie,I would be fuming too if that happened to us!! Enjoy your swing - be sure to send pics of it when it is all assembled and hung up.

Patti, have a fun day at the rummage sales - I love those!!  The tables in my living room are from garage sales.  And a few other odds and ends in my house.  You never know what treasure you might find -not to mention the good deals!!

Jill, enjoy your day off - I need to get my hair done too. Waiting to hear back from my sister (my stylist) to see when she can fit me in for an appt.

I have no plans for today except to get caught up on housework around here.  I haven't been home all week!!  Yesterday I was at the kids school ALL day.  Making those posters took much longer than I had planned.  It was fun though - had fun chatting with the other moms as we worked.  Tommy had a game last night - he was playing first base and the batter ran right into him and knocked him down good - I could tell he was being brave and fighting back tears.  Of course I had to fight the urge to run out into the field and scoop him up!  That kid really hit him hard, everyone in the stands gasped because they thought Tommy would be hurt.  Thank goodness he wasn't.  After the game we came home and I made everyone omelets for dinner.

I still haven't heard back from my mil.  I had sent her a mother's day card with a Kohls gift card in it earlier in the week.  With her being in Cleveland, I imagine she will recieve it either today or tomorrow, so I am curious to see if we will hear from her.  I think Ray was more upset about this whole situation than he initially let on, because he keeps bringing it up.  Last night, out of the blue, Tommy asked if "mom was still sad 'cause of nana?"  The question was geared toward Ray, I was standing at the sink, so it was sweet to hear Ray's answer.

Well I hope you all have a good day.  Going to be another cool, gray day here.  didn't even get to 70 yesterday!!  I heard on the radio this morning that on this day last year, it was 97 degrees!!  I'll take the mid 60's any day over that!!!

    Kathleen

p.s. Margie, have you taken ibuprofen for your neck?  Can you sit with a heating pad on it?  Hope it feels better soon!!

Re: June Cleaver Club Thursday 5/8/08

Good morning Junebugs, we are having a little shower right now, the plants love it, and the new plants I planted are sopping it up too. My Magnolia is simply beautiful, she must have 50 blossoms total on her, I sit on my garden bench right beneath her, and enjoy touching the flowers. It is going to clear up this afternoon, so I will be doing chores in the house and relaxing until it dries up a bit. I want to get my Canna Lillies in the ground by tonight, they are going to be so pretty, they are an orange and yellow color, blended together, and should look beautiful this summer. All I have left to plant are some Gerber Daisies, Snapdragons, and Nicotiana, which are going out front. Now all I have to buy are my Cucumber seedlings, maybe some Ornamental Grasses, see what I have room for, Lol.

Margie-Sorry about someone stealing your weedeater, those come in handy so much around my yard, I use it alot. So glad James brought you a swing, I sit in mine all the time, I really enjoy it at night, after I am tired from gardening. I will be thinking of you enjoying your swing, while I am enjoying mine, Lol.

Becky-So sorry about your furbaby, it is so hard to let them go, but you don't want them to suffer either. I just love my little dogs, I don't know what I would do without them, they are family.

Patti-Enjoy your rummage sales, I just love those and the lawn sales, I look for gardening things and look for books too, I save alot of money buying them for a quarter apiece.

Shirley-We have put stuff out to the roadside and it is gone fast too. It is enjoyable to see the trucks stop and pick up things they want, the people have always cleaned up their messes afterward, they never throw the stuff around. Beats going to Salvation Army, Lol.

Deb-Hope you are enjoying your gardening also, DH just mowed our front lawn, and this bad winter, I thought I would never see grass again. I did the trimming last night, and it looks so nice, it is worth all the hard work.

Jill-We are having a shower right now too, the plants just love it, it is suppose to clear up this afternoon, so will probably do a little gardening, if it is not too wet. Good idea to bring your plants in before you go, that way you know they won't get damaged, while you are gone.

So I'm off to make the bed and tidy up a little, then going to relax a little before I go outdoors. Enjoy your day, girls, Margie, hope James gets your swing up fast, so you can enjoy it right off, we had our furbabies both swinging with us last night, and they just love it. My little Chihuahua, Miss Molly was hopping around the lawn playing with her sister, Belle, and looked just like a little bunny, as she was so excited to be outdoors. Well, off I go to fold up a white load also, have a nice day girls, and plant some bulbs, when you can.

    Belle
