Nancy B I'm so sorry about your back. Hope the new doctor can do something to help. You never know, the progress in modern medicine is astonishing. And your mind is certainly fine! Smile

79 degrees is too cold? Boy, I'm sweating at 62 in the house.

Beth, you're always so busy you make my head spin. Have a wonderful meal this afternoon.

Hi, Merle. Sounds like your Mother's Day is off to a good start. Have a great weekend.

That poor-boys recipe sounds wonderful, Zora. And I don't even like roast beef. TJ would love it though. I will have to hunt down a suitable piece of beef to make them. Sometimes our meat cuts are not named the same way as yours so I always have a hard time knowing which cut is which. Copied and saved and will definitely try this one. Thank you.

Peg, I add flax seed, bran and wheat germ to anything that can stand that stuff added to it. Not a lot but a tablespoon or two every chance I get. They're really good for you but they all give you 'that' sensation. LOL!

Good evening and a great weekend to all.

    Grace

Oh my word, just had to come back to tell you how happy & blessed I am.  Neighbors across the street brought me a Humungous bouquet of flowers.  Then, right after that, got a delivery of a dozen roses from my "adoped" kids, the ones with the twins  with a note saying that Charlie would be here on Sunday finishing up any yard work that needed to be done.  Tomorrow know I'll be getting something from the grands, cuz mom alreaey clued me in.  But, here's the best - Dave is in a "big loser" contest at work - he won this month & got a round trip ticket to see his sister in CT - I'm going too & we're totally going to surprise the kids.

    Hi all,

We are home again from our dinner and I just got done putting the write up and pictures in the Web Page. Still have to print out the pictures to put on our bulletin board for all to see.

I had a basket of 3 bigggggggggg pieces of chicken with the most delicious french fries and my dh had a bigggggggggggggg tenderloin sandwich with trimmings and chips. There was so much food we brought home enough for our lunch tomorrow! All of this plus our drinks and it only cost $21.00.

Glad to see so many posts today. Guess everyone was kind of talkative!

    See you in the morning.

It's good to be back. I had two very intensive days of First Aid and I'm exhausted! And my eyes sting from the tears I shed during the infant choking and Infant CPR. Having lost 2 infants many years ago, I get emotional every time. I even took some supplements for anxiety/stress before I went. Anyways, that's behind me now and I'll be good for 3 years.

My house is a mess right now, so I need to give it some TLC.

Zora, thanks for posting that bread recipe for me. I'll be making a new load on Monday, as I'm down to 2 each of 60-70% whole wheat raisin.

Many hugs and prayers for anyone needing them today.

I'm off to clean my house. It's in C.H.A.O.S. Yikes!  ***JP***
