    Dog [&] Critter Chat...5-9-08

Good morning! Whats for breakfast? I am tired of toast so I may fix taters, onions and eggs this morning. I know, I know if I do I will be off my diet. Buy once a month can't hurt. BUT I may just have oatmeal and stay on my diet. Dozie and Kozi never have this problem. They eat what I give them and its always the same. Well come on in and join me in a chat.

Good morning. It's a nice sunny start here so am planning on getting some planting done. Now if only the ground will work with us. It's been so mucky it just isn't any fun digging the holes to put the new plants in.

Kozy oatmeal is good. Save the diet breaker for a special day. Albert gets the same thing everyday and he even acts like he doesn't care just so it's on time.

BD have a good trip and time with your mother. We'll miss the Rudy stories.

Good morning Kozy.  I haven't joined in on this thread before but since I have critters I thought I would.

I have two cats, Candi and Carmen.  I think I named them quite appropriately.  Candi is quiet and sweet, and Carmen, well. . . she's just Carmen.

I named Carmen when they were both kittens when I couldn't find Carmen.  You remember that kid's show "Where in the world is Carmen San Diego" (or something like that)?  One day when I couldn't find her and after looking all around the house for her I found her behind the washing machine.  So that's how she was named Carmen.

My two furbabies are both shelter rescuees.  It's the only way I'd ever get a cat.  There are too many strays out there, including a couple in my apartment complex.  One of the strays is really sweet and if I didn't have these two I'd probably bring her in the house.  She's starving for attention.  Poor baby.  But I can't have any more than 2 animals, so Carmen and Candi are it until they die, and they're only 7 years old so they have a long time left.

No one gets in to see the wizard.
    Not nobody.
    Not no how.

Hello!!!!  I hope everyone has a great weekend.  No agility class this weekend and it is a good thing with my bum toe!  I love the pit bull grabbing the Vick dog!  The dog looks like a JRT but I know the pink nose is a sure sign it's a pit!  Way to go.

Kozy I like a half whole wheat english muffin with a little Dijon mustard and cottage cheese for breakfast.  Nothing fancy but a nice change and healthy.

Daisy Mae, the Dog of the Day
    Name: Daisy Mae
    Age: Nine years old
    Gender: Female Breed: Lab mix
    Home: Miami, Florida, USA

My dog's name is Daisy Mae. What makes Daisy so special is that she is funny, loves everyone and is adorable! She is special because there's not a person she doesn't like! She adores my dad! When he comes home, she purposely scarfs down her food just so she can whine and complain for more food! He looks at him and lifts her head up high and howls. She knows how to lay down, sit, shake hands, and she also races us across the yard! After we give her bath, (which she doesn't mind!) she goes and finds the biggest pile of grass and rolls in it and gets filthy all over again!!! She also likes to get her tummy rubbed! She rolls on her back and shows her little teeth. When my dad watches TV, she always has her head on his lap or legs. One time, when she wanted attention, she went and flopped down on the newspaper he was reading! She's Crazy!
