How is everyone?  I've been running around all week and haven't had much time to check in here.

My foot is still in the aircast, however, I have still been going to work out - only arms & abs.  Today was the last day to go work out....the doors will be locked tonight for good.

Well, I'm dressed and the trash is out. I have my coffee so let the posting begin. LOL.

I don't think we're going asparagus hunting this morning, DH is real sick. He's back in bed and just hacking. He can hardly breathe. Oh well, we may miss it this year. Maybe if he's better by Saturday, we can go out and find some that are almost to seed and dig them up.

Another cloudy day with storms forcast again for this afternoon. We need more sunshine but then again when it does shine we probably won't have any more rain. I need some fresh maters.

I hope we find some asparagus too today. Good thing my friend knows what to look for because I sure don't. Do you just plant it anywhere you want? Does it have to be in the shade, sun?

Marilyn, plant it wherever you want but keep it wet. Or at least damp. It will spread eventually.

Good luck. Best go out in the morning if you're digging as the ground will work better for you.

Good morning BJ and Tracey and everyone else that follows. I slept good and I've been sleeping on the couch last night off and on so I got enough sleep.

BJ sorry to hear that your DH is so sick. Hope he isn't going to be sick for a long time.

Traecy what happened to the gym that you go to and they are closing the doors for good? How is your foot doing?

I work 9-1:30 today and get to spend a few hours with Gary before he goes to work. I like this short shift

The sun is out and shining right in my eyes as I type. Looks like it;s going to be a nice day, hopefully. Have a nice day.

Tracey, sorry you still have to wear that darn air bag. When can you get rid of it?

I have to go find DH's mom some hanging baskets for Mother's Day. Our local greenhouse didn't have any descent ones. They mostly sell commercial and had sent them to other places.

BJ, we have to wait until this afternoon. I have to go to the funeral home & out to the cemetary after lunch then go get the asparagus. As wet as it is, I don't think we'll have much trouble digging. May even be raining by then.

Hi BJ and everyone. It`s a cloudy day here today. No sun to be seen at all. I want to transfers some more plants around in the yard when I get home tonight so well see.  I also want to go looking around for different perrinals this weekend and see what`s out there.

The guys are here finishing up today on the brick work....looks awesome, they did a fantastic job on the house. BJ I`ll send pics once we get the yard back to normal and what`s left after they leave cleaned up. They are really good about cleaning up after themselves though I have to say that. DH assured me he would help me get the area around where they have been working looking like it was before all the work started. He knows I`m very picky about our yard and house.

Here`s what DH came home with for my surprise Mother`s Day and my June birthday gift from him and DS....He did a fine job!!!!

Sharon that's a beautiful diamond ring that your husband  and son picked out for you for mothers day and your birthday. Yeah he's got good taste. Enjoy wearing your ring and showing it off, it's gorgeous.

 I just love wearing beautiful jewelrey and especially rings are my favorite. I have some beautiful rings from my ex that I still wear but I am after Gary to buy me a ring. So I guess I'll just have to wait and see when that happens.

Sharon your house is going to look beautiful once the huys are done fixing it up. I bet you just can't wait for them to be done the work. Have a good day at work today. See you tonight.

Well what`s on everyone`s agenda for the weekend? Mother`s Day weekend we used to always go and have a cookout up at my folks house. They have been gone four years....it just doesn`t seem that long ago. We would all have the best time up there. I have 6 sister`s and one brother.....add that up with all the wives, husbands,children and all we were quite the crowd.....LOL....

I wasn`t on last night BJ because I had gone to the store....hamburger was on sale for $1.70 a lb. So I bought 40 lbs and was packing it all up last night....It took forever but I wanted to buy alot while it was at a good price. They also has whole pork loins for $1.70 so I bought 20 lbs of that and tonight will cut them into roasts and porkchops. Possibly some cubed....
