Dear Grandpa passed away......

Dear Friends in Tea. It is with much saddness laced with joy for my father that I tell you of the loss that has touched our family today. As we mourn, Dear Grandpa is reunited with my Dear Mother, his wife for 67 years. He leaves behind a legacy of Love, not as a silly sentimental hope[which in and of itself is a beautiful thing], but as an action word. He lived with a huge heart filled with it. He never failed to help nor to comfort and he was a great friend to all those he met in life. He sought faith until he found it and he inspired those around him in so many ways. Please excuse the messy tables and unwashed cups, I will join you at tea as soon as I can manage. Your very grateful hostess and friend, Mary

 Oh Mary! I am sooooooo sorry for your loss! Please, please, PLEASE, just take care of yourself and don't worry about us here! We'll do just fine in attempting to keep the Tea Room tidy while you take however much time you need to adjust to this loss! We'll patiently wait for you to direct us to whatever needs you may have of us! Just know we love you dearly and will hold you up for as long as you need!

Please know that my prayers and love are being sent to surround you. I'll send choirs of angels to wrap you in their wings to uphold you and give you the strength you need. You'd do it for them. They and we all know that!

God bless you, Sweetie! I'll be remembering extra prayers for you and I'll say some for Grandpa's soul, too! I'm off to light a candle and spend some time doing that for him right now!

I'm so very sorry and full of sadness. He was such a gentle soul, much like his beloved daughter. He is at peace and no longer confused, although I know he leaves behind sadness and tears.

God has received a very "Special Person" today.  As your father is greeted by your mother in Heaven, may all the warm memories fill your hearts and give you comfort.  May God wrap His Loving Arms around you all and give a sense of peace in knowing that he will always be watching over you.  Please know that my heart goes out to you and your family.  I will continue to lift you all in Prayer.  I'm so very sorry...sweetie...

I am so sorry to hear that our dear Grandpa has died.  God blessed him with the best daughter anyone could ask for.  A table will always be set for Grandpa as he was, indeed, part of our family as well.

I hope, with time, the pain will lessen and you'll be left with fond memories that you will share with us.  I will look forward to those times.

Dearest Mary,  Why is it that at such times words seem useless, and yet we know they are welcomed?  It always helps to hear words of love and comfort from those who care, and care I do.  I am so sorry for your loss, but Oh what gain for dear Grandpa to be reunited with your Mom in a place prepared for only sweet rest and happiness.  He was a trooper to the last, due in large part to the kind of man you describe him to be.  Also in large part because of your and your family's loving care of him.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.  Please rest and find comfort in all that you know to be true.  "Whatever is true, honorable, right, pure and lovely.....if there is any excellence and if anything is worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.  Philip.4:8  And the peace only from God which will surpass any human understanding will rest lightly on your  shoulders, those broad shoulders that have carried the load for so long a time.  God Bless.  Carolyn
