    Happy Mothers day to all.

We survived the wedding everything went very well, and she was beautiful and yes I cried, the weather was good and you could not have asked for a more beautiful day, it was a little cloudy and the sun came out for supper, then a few drops of rain, but nothing to complain about, when we were done at the reception we all came back to our place for a fire outside good laughs and a to end with a well deserved hot tub for all the ones who were left including the bride and groom, my DH was so proud I do not think I have seen him with such a smile on his face it was wonderful to see, when he gave a toast to the bride he shed quite a few tears along with Trina.

DS and his girl friend are coming for supper we are going to BBQ and still have lots of left over salads and desert left.

off to clean up a bit and try to catch up with laundry, hope everyone has a wonderful Mothers Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, my, I did not realize I did not post this morning. And, now I see it was last evening.

We had a nice day with a few games, just me, Russell and Laura. DD#2 and the DGC called earlier. Russell gave me a dozen pink roses, and then Laura bought me more plants for the yard. I am waiting to get a couple more hanging ones until Thursday. Aldi's ad says that's the day for a new shipment and the ones I got before are so nice.

ALICE, so nice to hear about the wonderful wedding day. Lots of activities going on, too.

JOYCE, have fun with the Wii. I remember you have to let go at just the right time for a good shot. And, Bradley showed me how to line up the ball for good hits, too.

CAROL, always embarrassing when you forget one dish. Been there, done that. Usually it's one I had out in the garages fridge. Hoping your rest today helped you feel better.

MARY, probably sad DGS will be gone for the summer, but a good experience for him. Fun with your family makes for a good Mother's Day.

HAUKE, a good card game along with tasty food filled your day. You and your mom could share the joy.

Now, I am just going to watch a movie. I have a few favorites and several were on today.

I'm glad the wedding went well Alice, and there will be happy memories for all of you.   All that food, my oh my, lol.

We didn't do anything today, boys had to stay where they live, it's just too far.  I fixed stir fry with beef for dh.  He napped 3 hrs.   We were up early, at 6:30, for some German soccer championship games.  Then English games are next.    Mary, you will appreciate this: dh asks me as I'm sitting on the couch eating breakfast, "hey honey, next time you eat a fudgesicle, can you save me the stick?"   I ask why, he says, "I think I broke my finger or knuckle, it's swollen and hurts alot"...........turns out it's been that way over two days already.     MEN!!!   So, tomorrow we will call the regular doctor and get in to get an xray and see what is wrong.   The meds he takes, one of the "side affects" is easy bone breakage, they warned us about this.  In fact, dh was supposed to have one of those bone density tests 3 months ago to keep an eye on this problem.    Wonder what the doctor will say on Tuesday about that??   Sigh.

You guys have such pretty flags out, we used to do that but quit, I don't know why.  Joyce, too bad you didn't put a note on that money jar, saying anyone that takes it will get a curse for life!!!  Some people are afraid to touch stuff if they believe in that kind of stuff.    A neighbor where we used to live had that written on his security box in his file cabinet, and burglers came in, but they really left that stuff alone, lol.  They took other things though.

I'm sitting here eating my unsweetened applesauce, and wishing I had some chocolate, lol.  No treats!!   I didn't even have dessert when we went to that casino on Friday.   The coffee shop was almost empty too, sort of strange.   It has to be the poor economy.

    Waving to all of you.

    Doris
