4 BR, 2 full baths - 1 with shower, 1 with tub - and 1 half-bath.  Not sure of the square footage - we added a huge family room several years ago.  Bedrooms are good sizes, LR is big, kitchen is on the small side but surrounded by house so nowhere to enlarge unless we incorporate the DR into the kitchen.  Which is an idea we play around with but so far haven't done anything about.  Nice big yard, too, with lots of trees.  We've been here since May of 1980.

Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.

We have 4br/2.5bath.  Seems like I buy toiletpaper by the flatbed truck as it is, couldn't imagine more bathrooms to keep stocked.

Friends of ours have 2 full kitchens in their house.  The second kitchen is in what's called the "mother-in-law" quarters.  It's the lower level of their house.  No MIL to come and visit but the teenagers have their friends over and all kinds of cooking experiments go on down there!  The kids discovered that box brownies don't taste very good when olive oil is used rather than salad oil!

nix, that is funny about the olive oil.  My oldest daughter made a cake and only had olive oil in the house, so, what's the worst that could happen???  She used it and later found out it was olive/garlic oil!!!  Yuck!  I'm glad I didn't have to eat that cake!!!  My girls are not the best at baking...anyway, my house is 3 bedroom/2 bath.  One bd. rm is my "play room" for computer and scrapbooking and the occasional sewing project.  We have close to 1900 sq. ft single level and it is enough for me!  Easy to clean.  Our former home was 2 story, 2300 sq. ft. and 5/3.  It got to be too big after the kids moved out!

We have 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

One kitchen that I wish were much, much bigger. But,I only want one, certainly not three! A nice sized dining room,a large living room,a laundry room,a full basement,an enclosed back porch and a screened in front porch. When we moved in here in 2002 it seemed huge, lol. But,that was before we had two more kids. Now it seems too small.

We have a 3 BR, 1BA ranch, full basement.  Another bathroom would be wonderful but the house is a good size for the 2 of us.  We had a neighbor who lived here for 3 years - they were from Japan & couldn't understand why some of our neighbors would looking for a bigger house.  They couldn't quite understand why American's needed so much room.  When they were in Japan, they owned a 2 BR condo.

$450,000 for 3 bedrooms and one bathroom?  WOW, it must be a VERY convenient location.

Right!  Want to hop on the train to NYC, right to Penn Station?  Bus instead to Port Authority NYC?  Top schools, culture, arts, etc.etc.  This is what we pay for in our $10,800/year property taxes.  And people are begging for houses here.  I guess when we want to move, we should find one of your houses and move in...and make quite a profit!!

You sound like you are from the same town I am originally from.....my mom still lives there as well as 1 of my sisters!  I will be back there next weekend for our daughters College Graduation. I am from Passaic County....and the prices are just outrageous!  Good for you if you sell....bad for those who want to buy!!!

Essex County for us..but just as pricey.  So far the real estate market is still strong.
