Good Morning My BB Friends

Not a good day.

Took a Tylenol PM last night because I was feeling punky and slept until 20 minutes ago.

Went to get on the PC. No PC. So here I am on my laptop. I left a very stinging message on computer guy's VM last night about my email. Now I have nothing. Grrr.

Yes I know Karen......let it go. I'm so mad I'm seeing red. All my stuff is on HIS hard drive or I'd be taking this to a repair geek right now.

Need coffee. My throat is killing me.

You guys have been busy without me this morning. LOL. It's nice to know I'm missed.

I'm not in the best of moods this morning. I'll be calling that guy as soon as I calm down a bit.

Good morning BJ. I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. Do you have DH's crud?  There is nothing more frustrating than computer woes.  Yes, we were beginning to worry about you. Did you hear Depo screaming "Wake Up BJ?" We sure heard him and answered. lol. Try to relax. Talk to you later.

Good morning BJ. My god that computer and computer guy sure are giving you grief. I really do hope that this guy or someone else can get it fixed once and for all. Take care of yourself Bj and I hope you don't get it as bad as your DH has it.

This morning we are going to my house and the junk removal company is going to haul away lots of junk from the back yard, under the sundeck and the driveway. Then Gary is going to week whack the front and back and cut the grass in the front and show my son how to use the lawn mower. After that we might go to the green house for some flowers and then to get a few groceries. We are going to a friends 50th birthday party tonight at 5 and I am making my famous Bacon Jalapeno Dip. They are making steaks for everyone. It should be a lot of fun. Bu then anywhere with Gary is fun as he is big and loud and the life of the party. He gets everyone singing and dancing and having a good ole time.

LOL. I'm ready to tear my hair out.

I did get up at 5:30 to let the dogs out but went back to bed. I don't feel like DH but my throat sure is sore.

I'm so mad about my computer. It seems he fixes one thing and something else goes wrong as a result. He already told me he can't come back until monday but I'm fuming. He WILL know about it today.

As for the email address it won't work on this laptop so go back to the old one until he gets the PC fixed.

Still cooking here for tomorrow, thank goodness DH is helping. Just have the potato salad left to make. BJ, so sorry things are so messed up for you. Hope your day gets better. Hope you are not getting the crud. It is awful. Take care of you & feel better soon.

If you read Depos post I have been cooking up a storm for tomorrow. You know how my family treats me, so I need to take care of it today.  I absolutely hate Mothers Day & my birthday.

Then we are off to Home Depot to have them price match some stuff & I got a coupon in my email for buy 1 get 1 free for hanging baskets!! Perfect for Mothers day, so will do that also. I really wanted a Grandma necklace from Kmart but DH tried to get 1 7 they didn’t have any, my luck!!

It's too bad you have to do the cooking for YOUR day. Since DH is sick I won't be seeing MIL. Can't say I'm too sorry. I have ribs in the slow cooker finally. DH is tired of sickee food. But I will make him some chicken soup later today.

BJ, we went out to the wild asparagus, and I cooked the whole batch 1 piece that was eatable. LMBO But we wanted to see what it tasted like. Made me want lots more. I steamed it, then put melted butter on it and cut it in half. We both agreed that it's better than we can buy in the store.

I wish you could of seen us trying to dig it up. It was on a hill, not a gently sloping hill, mind you, in amongst those orange day lillies. By the time Bettie could see it they were too big to eat. We took a sharp shooter and I told DH to brace himself, hold on to me & I'd have to jump on it. Our ground on our side of the county is soggy but down in those lilies it was dry as a bone. Well, to make a long story short, the spade hit a clod of the daylilies, I slid off the spade, let go of DH with my other had & went down on my b--- in the lilies & slid 1/2 way down the hill. I laughed so hard I couldn't hardly ge up. At least it was soft landing. We thought it was on her creek bank not a flower bank and that there was an abundance of it. We did get all of it, unless the roots that were left spread out & makes more next year. There were maybe 10 -12. We have them in a bucket of potting soil until we find out where to put them. Now, I dig about 12" down & bury them? I'm going to put some of the Miracle Grow potting mix in with my dirt when we dig the trench. I want to do this right so we have some to eat next year. This should give you your laugh for the day.

Yesterday was one of those days that you go to do what you think is a few minutes and goes into hours. Two of the things we did were like that. Then we decided to go eat at Cracker Barrel before we dug up the asparagus. After we go home we had to wash the car to get the splatters off where some guy could of missed a huge puddle but decided to drive thru it. After that DS came over & we stayed outside talking for the longest, changed clothes then he called, wanted to know if we wanted to go to Wally World with him so we had to change out of our comfy clothes. I think we checked out about everything in the store & got home at 10:30. LOL

How is your DH? On the road to recovery? I hope you don't get it.

Depo, Im with you, I hope they take him out as soon as possible. Jr. can't do it but some of the others can. That way they can't say he did it out of revenge. Let me out there & I'll do it. Yeah, right. Get myself killed out there.
