Lately I've been having problems mixing Jello & Cool Whip. It just gets 'watery.' I use less water, let it get plenty hard before adding Cool Whip etc. but it doesn't seem to matter. I'm wondering if they are using different ingredients? I never used to have any problem & my little grandaughter loves it but I'm not happy with the outcome. The box says to add 1½ cups boiling water & add frozen Cool Whip. It has to thaw a bit or it won't mix in. Have you had this happen or any suggestions? I'm Puzzled.
