Good morning and Happy Mother’s Day.

I think we are in storm ally this month…we had had such strong storms and winds, unreal! Taking Mother, Mother-in-law and youngest daughter (and family) out to Country Cottage for breakfast this morning then I think we are going to look at pergolas for building ideas…that should be cute! *smiles* I have a card sitting here from my SS and a package from Hawaii from my oldest daughter...can't wait to open them ~ patience? Not a virtue that's EVER bothered me!

Special hugs to my 2 SS!

It'll be a busy day for us too.  We're getting ready to head up north a couple of hours.  DIL's boyfriend (father of little Garrett) is in the hospital for heart (electrical) problems so we'll go up & see him & DIL first, then to my MIL for a visit, then to see MY mom & dad. 

It looks like a beautiful day today so it should be a nice drive.  I'll bring the Sunday paper & some cross stitch. 

Oh, the Pampered Chef party was a success!  I'll try to get a few more outside orders when I return to work tomorrow, then I'll close it out.  I'll get lots of free goodies & 2 half-off items.

Well the wedding is over LOL The day began sunny with light winds. Well I figured out who is causing the problems........sigh.......it's her Mom. I am clueless as to what I have done but I refused to let it upset me on this SPECIAL day.She did everything and anything to goad me. I am so proud of myself , she even cut me out of being walked down the aisle and seated.Now 2 of my brothers were there and they were furious, it was kind of funny I calmed them down by explaining what has been going on.......they have now declared war on her.hehe It was a beautiful wedding tho and things went very well, except all my family backed out of going to the reception afterwards. It was raining so hard by the time we got to the reception and beings it was outside alot didnt show up, there was more than enough room inside the house for us. Poor David was lost for 2 hours so Mom to the rescue went to meet him back in town and 2 minutes after I got to town he called and said he had found the house. lmao  So you know what was going on in my absence dont ya............yep the mother of the bride made sure to have the toasting and speech's in progress when I made it back to the house. BUT what she doesnt know is one of the bridesmaids that I have known for years and calls me Mom was recording( she knew where and why I was missing) it she's going to make a copy for me. neerers neereerssssssss I really did have a great time and enjoyed seeing the kids(groomsmen and bridesmaids) most whom I have known for years. Other than the downpouring rain it was perfect! I even got a piece of wedding cake.......yummmmmmmm......it was carrot cake. It was a lil scary driving home in all that rain in the dark but once I was home I kicked off my shoes and had a cup of hot tea and ate my cake! Perfect ending to a perfect day.

Well I dont think much is going on today for me until the rain stops, then I will go visit my Mom for a while. I havent decided what I am making for dinner yet and the way its going it might be grilled cheese and soup and if I can remember to grab so evoo I can have the spinach orange salad too. :)

Off I go........... but before I do I want to wish EVERYONE of the Sister's a GREAT Mother's day! MOM'S ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all my sisters.  DD took me to Outback last night 80 miles away so I could have dinner with MY Mom! Wasn't that sweet.  Outback is DD's favorite place to eat. We had a nice visit and got home by 9:00!  Then I got up this morning to ge DS up for work and he was already up making ME french toast for breakfast!! Boy was I surprised....he did a good job too!!  :) My oldest son is suppose to be putting the blinds that I got for Christmas up for me in my bedroom...but hasn't done it yet....lol.

Yes I  checked the "Swap" site but still haven't heard from Hedgie. She should have gotten it nearly 2 weeks ago.  :(  Haven't seen Tonya lately either.  Hasn't been a good experience so far.

  Our computer decided to crash yesterday for some unknown reason. So if I disappear for awhile, that is what happened.  The computer seems to be working fine right now.

  Sandra, glad the wedding was a beautiful experience for you!! Congradulations on taking the "higher road" as far as the MIL.  I had to laugh at your brothers declaring "war". Now that the wedding is over, the MIL, should calm down or what ever is wrong with her.  My ex MIL used to act that way and no one ever knew what she was mad about.

   I have watched the news and saw all the tornado's in GA, MO and OK and wondering how everyone is doing.

  Evie, don't let the cookbook experience get you down, okay?? I hope you hear from your partner soon.  Maybe something happened with her computer or maybe she had a family problem and just could not post.  The swaps are awesome and it doesn't take long to get addicted to them. SS is awesome too....you will just love having a secret sister and being one as well.

  We are going to my oldest DD for supper tonight.  My GS leaves for New Orleans late Tuesday Evening for Pittsburgh and flying to New Orleans early Wednesday AM. I can not wait to see him.

Marcia, my DH's mother died right before mother's day, (several years ago) so its sad for him too.

I'm having a great day!~  songs, tea, nials painted in mommy salon and wonderful presents!!

I have lots of kitchen things to try out: popcorn popper, Slushie maker with sugar free syrups, a king size muffin maker (yes its bigger than jumbo) and a new hand mixer with a retractable cord. and DH got me a paper cutter with multi cutter blades. Plus my SS sent me wonderful things too.

OH MY Amy......I hope you don't go to Outback very often......lol. 

I can't wait to get my SS this summer. It seems like a lot of fun!   I still havent figured out how you keep yourself a secret and post here too......but I'll get it I guess...lol. 

We just finished our KFC dinner at church. There's enough left for after church tonight!!  :)  Now it's time for a nap!!
