 Hi Sisters,

I pray you all are haveing a good day? I am  I went to Friday prayer group and then the post office and over to DHA place to see about her TV,she called last night and didn't work ,she needednew batteries so we gut that going and then made a hair appointment for next week for her she is going to her 68th class reunion.

Then we went shopping   food and for my SSreveal box (((Oh did I have fun)))I gut some fish for supper and going to get my book done 20 more pagers it's a good book thank you SS

I stop to get gas $3.73 and when I left the gas was up to $3.81 THANK YOU LORD I was going to get it tomorrow.

 Here is information that I got from Turbo Tax today regarding stimulus checks.

**Marcia**  Thanks for the schedule of the stimulus checks.  But, I thought if it was a direct deposit it would be much earlier.  According to the direct deposit schedule, we should have seen the check but have not.  Maybe this schedule will be nicer to me.  Still am having to wait until June 13!  I am willing to go out and spend it, like the government wants me too...send it on!

I have a friend that sent me a brochure of a Historic Home Tour (from Indiana).  One of the homes was refurbished and is owned by a man that went to the same school that I attended.  But, even more interesting is the fact that one of the houses is being promoted as a Bed and Breakfast for women that want to getaway for a weekend to work on craft projects!  Is that the coolest?!

This is a boring night for TV so I guess I am going to get some reading done.  I will also be working on a "list" to include in my revealing package.  Like everyone else, I have mixed feelings on that one.

We got our stipend today!

It sure made it alot easier to break it to DH that I bought some candles from a girl at work from Candle lite!

China!  Tamales again?  I didn't get any last time.  Could you make extra & have us all over for a big party?  Do you deliver? 

**Deb**  I'm happy for you but I still have not gotten mine.  [:'(]  I feel as though those of us that had to pay in should have been the first to receive back.  We need something to reimburse us. 

**China**  How did you get selected as the Tamales Maker?  Sounds SO GOOD!  I'm sure that **Micki** is looking forward to some originals...coming up soon too!

The tamales are coming along, and you are all welcomed to come and grab one!  There are enough for all the sisters I think. More are still steaming and I will make the rest up on Sunday.

Direct deposits were put in soooner.  If you had direct dep but took the fee out of your check, they can't put it directly into your account and have to send you a check.... I am starting to understand it a bit more but ... sigh... wish it was here!!!!  lol 

Wish mine was here.  I want to purchase two tickets to see Willie Nelson in August and I am afraid they will be gone by July. 

Got through my first week with my new job.  It is going well.  I am going to spend the evening with her on the sixth of June so the family can go to a graduation.  Once the one daughter gets back then I can come home. The Monday of Memorial Day weekend I will go up to the cemetery at Eagle Point for the ceremony.   I am tired and it has gotten up to 98 for the past three days, which will make a person tireder.  Hugs to all.

I have been checking with my mom every day to see if she has recieved a letter saying yes or no to the stimulus check ...........so far nothing. Thanks for the info Marica at this moment I cant even think of my dads last two numbers.  I really hope I filled out their forms correctly, they sure could use a lil extra money.

Hello Ladies!  OMGosh!  I can't keep up!  LOL!  Woo Hoo!  DS is popping in for a visit!  Can't wait!  Spur of the moment.  They have a rare few days off of school.  And we have some house guests coming soon too!  Never a dull moment!  Gotta run!

Today looks like a beautiful day so far!  I'll be leaving in a few min.  to my Aunt's house for a BBQ.

Good morning all!  DH and I have survived the most hectic day of the school year.  We had National Honor Society inductions for our new members yesterday morning.  It was also Seniors last day.  Last night was Senior Celebration, where the seniors receive awards, scholarships, and their chords and honor stoles.  Then we inducted the new NHS officers and new Student Council officers.  It was a very long, exhausting day.  My feet were killing me last night. 

We had a reception for the new members and their parents.  In the past, the former sponsor had the current members bring all of the food for the reception.  Well, since Seniors last day was the same day, I just couldn't see it being feasible.  Also, we only had 15 members and we inducted 21.  Plus parents.  So I took it upon myself to make a few things.  First, I ATTEMPTED to make an Italian Lemon cake.  I followed the recipe perfectly and it didn't cook all the way through.  That really disappointed me, because it sounded so good.  So at 10:00 Thursday night, I made a sheet cake.  I also made a double batch of tortilla roll-ups, I put out 2 containers of cream cheese and poured salsa over them, and we had a huge batch of fruit (strawberries and grapes).  Oh and a bunch of cookies and punch.  Well, the cake was gone, and there was very little fruit left.  There was a little bit of the cream cheese and salsa left, but I ran out of crackers.  There was just enough of the roll-ups left that DH and I got to eat it for lunch.  By the way, I bought the punch at Walmart....if you see the apple/fruit punch blend, it was wonderful.  And I added ginger ale to it.  I'm pretty excited about it.

So despite the first cake being a flop, the rest of it was great.  I think it all turned out pretty good.  Today, I have to go back to school and grade some senior assignments, since their grades are due by 8 AM Monday.  Yeah!

Okay, I'm going to end this post and answer questions next.

okay, now I'll catch up on questions that you have asked since I have been awol for a couple of days.

How many days of school are left?  5 days next, 4 the next.  Then TECHNICALLY, we have until June 3.  But our wonderful principal scheduled semester tests on Wed/Thurs/Fri of that last week and then June 2 and 3 are make up semester test days.  If a kid is supposed to take semester tests and didn't show up on the designated day, then they should show up on June 2 or 3.  If they are exempt or took their test as scheduled, NO KIDS SHOULD BE THERE ON JUNE 2 OR 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!  Which gives us 2 days to clean up, put stuff up, or in my case, rent a bulldozer to clean off my desk!  LOL!!!!

So technically we have 11 school days left.  But I should only see kids for 9 of those.

Now, for my Mexico trip, I have less than a month until I leave.  I fly out on June 9.  I will be at orientation on June 7 and 8.   Nancy mentioned tamales.  Oh my gosh, I love the authentic ones.  I can't wait!  Has anyone ever tried fish tacos?  I keep hearing that those are wonderful, but all I can imagine are fish sticks in a taco shell.  I'll try everything once, but I'm nervous about fish tacos.  China....how did the tamales go?  You are amazing to make so many.  And congrats to your DH on his Spanish class.

Okay, guess I better get going.  I thought of a few things I need to pick up today in town.  My list of things to do is getting longer!!  Yikes!!  Hope you all have a great day.
