Yeh! Summer is here, at least until Wednesday.  It is suppose to rain on Wednesday, but we wil enjoy the warmth while it is here.

We went fishing on the lake yesterday.  Beautiful day.  The water was smooth as glass.  We caught 5 kokanee salmon.  It wasn't easy because DH forgot to put the net in the boat. So he used a 5 gallon bucket. Every time he would bring a fish in, we would look to see if any one was watching.  We are going to have a fish fry for the neighbors tomorrow.  Can't wait.  There is a fishing tournament this week end so we are going to stay off the lake. Too many people and boats.

The gardenia is still blooming away.  Seven blooms in a week.

China- I have always wanted to make tamales, but they sound like a lot of work.  They sound yummy.  I wish we were closer so you could share.  LOL

Hope everyone has a great day.

    Happy Saturday Evening:

Boy, is it hot here.  If this is any indication of what is to come this summer,  UH OH!!  Luckily we had our AC serviced a few weeks ago so she is ready to roar....Hopefully, fingers crossed, no AC issues this summer.

I took a long weekend to catch up around the house and relax. I am so exhausted.  I just can't get myself refreshed.  I think this should do it.

Our fruit trees/berries are just loaded this year.  We have apricot, lemon, orange, white peach, fuji applie, plumb, cherry, red grapes, boysenberries, raspberries, blueberry's, strawberries.   The Cherry tree is our youngest, 5 years, and she is just loaded and they are so good.  The dogs are eating up too....

I think I am also going to do some spring cleaning....and organizing....

My thoughts and prayers to all of you!!

    Enjoy!

Judy, how have you been since your surgery last year?

    Connie, where are you?

Would you believe it is still 75 degrees at 10:45 here.  Summer came too fast.  I think it is supposed to cool down a bit during this coming week.  I need to get my swamp cooler going if it is going to stay hot.

Work is going well.  Looks like I will be getting 6 hours  day for 5 days a week.  I can handle that.  I have weekends off.   First time I have weekends off in a long time.

Hope my two special sisters are doing well.  Hugs to all.

    Hello everyone!

It has been super busy around here. It is a bit cooler this morning so we are not rushing out yet, but will shortly. Still have some work to do but we are nearing the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well we are going to be moving gravel to the front of the house today and we need to get some dirt to lift the height of the ground on the north side, then we can do the gravel there. It was a scorcher yesterday but is overcast and a bit breezey today. I have pork ribs for the BBQ tonight! We had supper on the deck last night, it was so nice and no bugs yet. Mosquitos will not be a problem this year, it is way to dry!!! Which is fine by me!!!!!!! I have noticed a LOT of ants and actully will be taking measures to get rid of them today.

Hi to everyone popping in today!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
