    Baked CornCasserole with Macaroni

     2 cans cream style corn

    1 cup elbow macaroni

1 stick butter - melted or cut into small pieces

1 8 0z. chuck of Velveeta cheese, cubed

Stir all together.  Put in to a 2 quart  casserole dish.  Bake 1 hr. at 350 degrees.  Stir every 15 min.  Baked uncovered.   Gets brown and crusty.

I like to bake mine covered for most  of the time-that way it's not so brown and crusty.  This is go good and so easy.  My kids all turned up their nose at it, the first time I made it.. They each only tryed it to humor me.  They all ended up with seconds and thirds, and it has become a favorite of theirs now.

    This recipe sounds very interesting.

Should I assume that the elbow macaroni is already cooked...or does it cook while it's in the oven??

    Thanks!!

Just use the macaroni from the box - It will cook in the corn.  It was all gone, and there were 4 of us tonight, and they were almost fighting for the last scoop.  kids willbe here for dinner on Tuesday now too, and wouldn't mind if I'd make it again!
