I hope you all had a great Mothers Day today.

We made it all the way up to 76º and it was gorgeous.

I didn't do anything but dishes today. Yay. DH is still quite sick. He was upstairs hacking most of the day.

I hope you all had a great day and will have a restful night.

Hi BJ and everyone

DS#1 called yesterday as there is a 13 hour difference in time.  DS#2 and DS#3 came over today.  Did not feel like cooking so we went out to a Chinese Buffet today.  Watched the golf match or at least part of it.  Slept through the middle of it.  Not much else on TV tonight so not sure what else to do.

Good evening BJ. Hopefully, the storms are over. I hate when we have tornado warnings. Scares me to death. Other than that, DH and I celebrated Mother's day alone. My girls were out of town. Oh well, they at least sent emails. LOL.  You have a restful evening.

Hi BJ I`ll bet it was nice hearing from your DD today. I had a nice day here. DS has been playing that new WII all day.

I hurt all over...my own fault. Border is up in the computer room and I`m going to hit the chair the rest of the night I think.

BJ...That e-mail you sent had the snag on it and everything. I`m taking it that was NOT how you seen it last night?

Good night BJ and Vera, Sounds like you both had a restful Mothers Day.

After babys 6 am feeding I went back to bed until the next feeding, felt good to sleep in. DH went out and bought breakfast for us. Then the 4 of us went for a walk around the neighborhood.

DD #1 made a beautiful card for me and a plant. Grilled some steak and onions for dinner. Received my 1rst Mothers Day card from DD #2. What a special Mothers Day this was for me.

Getting ready for bed now.

Good night Beej and friends. I have been trying for days to get on line. I just wanted to wish all the Moms a very Happy Mother's Day. I hope yours was peaceful. I'll give it one more chance to post. Crossing my fingers. It's been raining off and on all day. Have a great evening.

Trees down in some areas and power outage. We were very lucky no major damage here.

Goodnight Nancy and I`m sure this was a very special Mother`s Day indeed. Enjoy that new bundle....This is weird, but I love the smell of babies little feet....I love to take their little socks and see those tiny feet and smell them....wierd huh?

Bailey, I`m glad to hear of no really bad damage. It`s when people lose homes and lives that are the bad parts of these storms. Trees downed and power outages we can live with....

Bailey, I would freak out if there was a tornado by us. We have had them but nothing major (having said that, now we will, yikes!). Glad to hear you are safe.

Sharon, What does the border look like?. I have to agree w/ the baby scent, they're like new cars lol. She can now have a real bath since her umbilical cord came off. Just so sweet the way she looks at me and coos.

Mine was more peaceful than I thought it would be! LOL

DS made me a stenciled planter and gave me a packet of morning glories,little runt made me a Mothers day card with string art on it and G4E made a 3 tiered shelf in wood shop and gave it to me.She's kissin butt cuz her b-day is next week.I can hardly wait to see her list! NOT! I was thinking of a great investment for her. A 1-way ticket to Boot Camp sounds good to me!

My 2 oldest kids called and wished me Happy M-Day & DH called and is checking into some Health Insurance for me. That'll work!

I made some Choc. Cherry cheescake bars from a Cherry Chip cake mix recipe on the back of the box. Its cooling so we will see how it turned out in a few hours! I hate waiting! LOL

Time to go cook dinner!
