    Easy Pork Chops

This was posted by trailmom.  I made it for dinner tonight.  DH and I both liked this, and it is easy.  The flavors work very good together, although I feel it needs a little more.  I think that a slab of onion on top of/and or under the chops would be a really good addition.

    Easy Pork Chops

    1 can apple pie filling

    1 box Stove Top Dressing

    2-4 Pork Chops

Put pie filling on bottom of pie pan - I spray with Pam first (I forgot to spray pan, but it didn't seem to matter.)

Sear the pork chops in a hot pan and lay them over the pie filling

Prepare the dressing according to directions and place over the pork chops

Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes - depends on the thickness of your chops

Place something under pan to catch drips, or make sure pan is plenty big enough)

Remove foil and bake 15 minutes longer for a crisp top.

Yum! I think the idea of an onion slice on top would be awesome. It sounds great. Thank you!

I am thinking that adding some carmelized onions would really rev this up a notch. It sounds like a great combination of flavors. Thanks for posting - another to add to my "to try" pile.
