Dottie Rambo Killed in Accident!

She was killed in a wreck in her tour bus this morning in MO.    I was so sad to hear this.  She was such a great gospel songwriter.   She will be missed.   Praising God that she's with the Lord!

What a great loss to the Southern Gospel Music family! I had not heard this sad story - My favorite song written by Dottie Rambo is "We Shall Behold Him" - I'm sure she is doing this right now:

 And we shall behold Him, we shall behold Him Face to face in all of His glory; And we shall behold Him, Yes, we shall behold Him Face to face, our Saviour and Lord. We shall behold Him, our Saviour and Lord.

 That is truly sad.....prayers for all involved and for their families, as well as hers.  I remember her best for a children's album she did when my oldest dd was a baby.

RR, she wrote many of the beautiful gospel songs that have been sung down through the years!

So sorry to hear the news.  My kids loved her children's songs too.  She was a legend in the gospel music tradition.

The other people were taken to Springfield MO hospital. It happened in Mt. Vernon Mo.
