I don't think the dogs were too happy they woke me up when we got to the door this morning. It's 40º and raining. LOL. They were out and right back in.

It's not a nice day out there.

“They” say we are in for some pretty good storms….I think June it slows down but right now we pretty much stay hot, humid and it “grows” tornados. Lol We are 70º at my house now so when afternoon rolls around with the heat we usually get thunderstorms and depending on how much moisture and wind you just never know what they may decided to do…we were “supposed” to be in the clear the other night when we had a tornado forming in my huge humming bird tree ~ Oklahoma, what can I say?

Bailey, it's supposed to rain all day today and not get higher than 51º. Ugh.

I have to go to the store today. I'm completely out of dishwasher detergent. So I'll have to run between the rain drops.

Good Morning Everybody!

It's truly an amazing day around here today - I was actually up, showered AND dressed by 5:30 this morning!  I had to take DS to school at 6:00 this morning so that he can do some welding projects for his welding class.  Having been a welder myself, I can't even IMAGINE smelling that smell at that hour of the morning.  YUK! 

After dropping DS off, I went to Walmart to pick up some raisins as I'm going to make my Dad his & my favorite cookies today - Chewy Oatmeal Raisin!  He'll be soooo excited!  LOL

It's going to be a dreary one here today with rain moving in around noon.  Thankfully the phones will stop ringing as soon as the rain starts so I'm going to be able to get a bunch of sewing done today as well which is always a good thing.

I hope that you all have a good day today even if the weather isn't cooperating.

Im up early for once! Mr Stupid Kitty kept getting in my face and purring all night. Mr Stupid kitty is now outside!

I havent read the weather yet so who knows what type of day it will be. Im going to get that pool pump working if its the last thing I do then get a water analysis at the pool store and buy what needs to get bought for it.

 Good morning, everyone!  DH is up and moving a little better today.  It was a quiet day yesterday when those meds kicked in and knocked him out.   And he did get a good night's sleep for the first time in days. Now to just keep him from overduing it today since he feels a little more human.  Its hard to get this man to let the HIRED man do the work......I keep reminding DH that is what I'm paying that guy for!!!

BJ...sorry about your weather.  The rain we had here yesterday must have made its way to you.  It sure saved me having to water the lawn, though except now it is 6 inches taller!!!!   So....

Jackie!!!!   I really need you today to get my lawn mower going!!  If you can't, just tell me.  It will be one more thing on the hired man's list to do today.  Although you might be more capable to fix it than he is!

Linda....I can't believe your state.  Every time I hear about a storm on the news, I think of you.  We have a friend here whose daughter has chosen Oklahoma (out of MANY states) to get her doctorate in and I keep wondering WHY.   She's in for some surprises with the weather!

Paulette....you were up with the chickens this morning.  But I guess that isn't unusual for you.  I haven't caught up with you yet to tell you how pretty your daughter's picture was!  

Better get DH some breakfast to put in his stomach along with those pills!!!!

You didn't come back yesterday but Depo and I are planning a party at your house. LOL.

I'm glad your DH is moving better this morning. If he takes those pills with breakfast, he probably won't overdo, he'll pass out. LOL. That's good though. He needed to catch up on his sleep. Hope he is on the mend.

I don't care if it rains today. Just so it stops by Thursday. That's when we're going "up the hill".

Ironing today......and another round at the summer clothes....parting with them that is.  I can no longer keep this amount of clothes and have nothing to wear......does anyone understand that?  It is a beautiful day here....sunny and windy of course.....just warm, not hot.....just the way I like it.

Good morning BJ and friends.

Started out the day removing a tick from DS#2.  We'll keep an eye on it.  DS#1 was diagnosed with lyme disease about 5 years ago.  He had a rough time with it - he would get a fever for 1 - 2 days & lots of joint pain in his legs & then he would be fine.  This happened about every 3 -4 weeks.  Once he was treated (knock on wood) he was back to himself.

I have to go to the dreaded dentist later - oh joy!

Sunny and 50 here now.  Suppose to get to 70 today.  Then storms tonight and tomorrow and colder for the weekend.  Figures.  We have a trailer campout this weekend.

We are suppose to go golfing this afternoon but some buddies from church called and asked DH to go golfing.  He doesn't know yet as he was gone when the call came in.  We will see what he decides. 

Linda - Keep thinking of you when it says OK is going to have storms.  Even my DH asks now if it includes you.
