Good Morning... AKFish checking in!

Ok other than having to get up at the crack of dawn...(I had to be at the local hospital at 630am) this was EASY! got there they put me in these "cute" jammies?? gave me a little "happy" shot(NO IV EVEN! and I woke up it was done!  best was that there were a whole slew of little kids waiting to have it done so they took the grandma first! guess to prove to the little ones that If I lived they would too!! I felt like I was in pediatric central!  So now I officially have tubes in my ears! and amazing how much better I can hear! THAT was a wow factor! there really is no pain..It had been getting worse because of fluid behind my ear drums so now they are draining! and what I feel now is so much better!

I am a little groggy but having my coffee and will be a little lazy today...

Thank you ALL for the good wishes and prayers.. This is going to really make a difference I think I don't sound in my head like I am talking in a tin can anymore!! and I can hear the dog snoring!! WOW!!!

my hubby is due to get his done again.

Bun... I can hear lot's of stuff now!!! I just never knew they did this to "grown ups" my kids had them done several times each... but I thought it was something that kids had.. and then they matured and didn't have it done again!*LOL*  I had fun in the Pediatric ward tho!!! they have good toys!!!

 Gosh, so glad you're doing so well.  I thought about you this morning.  Glad to see you checking in already.  I've been on the go, have a class at the hospital in about an hour, before the knee surgery which is 2 weeks from today, and I know I'll have those "cute" jammies too!  What a pain those things are.  It's getting closer!  I'm ready!......TTFN........Gram

Wow!  Good to know we adults have something to help us too.  Haven't known any adults with the tubes.  Now you will be able to hear those fish jumping....watch out salmon, here she comes!!

Oris.. i didn't get a sticker.. I was robbed... and all the little ones got suckers and I didn't get one...(somehow I think they were drugging them with the suckers tho*LOL*)  geez...bet it cost me more too!!!
