Hi Zora, no whispering tonite LOLOLO.

    file002Unstoppable.jpg

I feel like this animal looks.  Really tired so I'm heading for bed soon.  Have to serve coffee and treats at coffee hour tomorrow so have to be up and out of here before 8 a.m.  I made another pan of the cake mix bars and a batch of white sugar cookies.  Hoping there will only be about 20 or so people there again.

We got our soft water today so we are using a lot of water today to get the soft water run thru the hot water tank.  It sure will feel good on my skin and hair.

Leaving hugs, prayers and good wishes to all of you tonite and I'll be back tomorrow when I get home.

    Have a good nite everyone.

    Re: 05/14/08 CS' Chat

Morin Zora, Beth, and grubup, and all who follow. dozed off in my comfy lazyboy. then I had to plug in the pc , we had some rain, not taking any chances,

I just took out some tilipia for dinner tonight, and fries in the oven.

having DH lazy boy looked at today, dh glider PLASTIC, wheel broke again, so they're to come sometime between 8 am &  1am, this is the 2nd time. the chairs are only 4 yrs, old, heck our other set is much older, & still never have any repairs .

I helped dh cut the grass , 1at time for me this yr, but it was too windy & nice out so some weeding got done, then lunch out, & we visited a nice couple in out subdivision.

made a 6 piergies for supper, and dh is losing a few #, and he did fit into his suit,    KC is having their 25 anninv. dinner on Sat. for their council, dh was officer then when they first started up the council, of couse lots of men have passed on thru the yrs,

On Sat, near us they are dedicated a church , but why they put in the middle of a new subvision, & not on the hwy. ? In fact we looked at that open field before we purchased this place, and when I see open land, I look twice, and then came the bulldozer, so we are here 7 not there.....

this other lady & I last nite, decided, we'd not go in to subdivision, sale in JUNE, just taking our stuff to the salvation army.  TIme to unload , if it was not used in 5 yrs, it goes.

Got 2-mails, the CONDO lady now wants my offer, Big Smile  since she found one by her DD in Mich, too late lady, $ is invested. and I am staying w/DH, he is being super, he just better stay that way, even if my decision was not to stay, I would have offered her 2 K less then I orginally, Cash offers do not come easy in this day & market.

I just did not think I had to wait 5 days to have my earnest $ returned to me. but I got an e-mail from the broker in the office, the agent was new to their office, who cares.

Margaret & Ruth I have been worried about you both w./ the weather, so bad, so many tragedies, in so many states.

I thought DWTS would of been over, but another week, I just wish, that Cheryl would Stop jumping all over her partner, gosh he is married,, she behaved when one week he show is little DD, but being a 2 time winner already , left someone else win a trophy.

I think the outcome was going to be what it was. she was a trooper, she wore her feelings on here face & her parnter like her, too, he was so kind & always smiling.

Love those little kis dancing, they so talented.

Beth do enjoy your soft water. how do you like, some think it make them feel slimy, we did not notice that at all, we do not have Culligan, we got nitco, Osby, we have a small tank & hardly ever go thru salt, we paid about the same though. we like the fact the installer did come out & talked to us, not a saleman pitch... like a reherard record. had lots of our question ans. so we are happy w/ our system.

No omose system here. since my refrig was not new.

    better get some beauty sleep.

    Good Morning Everyone,

I will try to be cheerful today!     Floyd has an appointment with his primary care Dr, with blood work to be done first.    He didn't call to see if he has to fast first, so he will do it, just in case.

I'm so thankful we don't live in an area where we have to worry about those awful tonados, I hope Ruth and all those CS's in that area are safe.

We had friends over to play cards yesterday, that elevated Floyd's mood a lot, so we made a date for next Tuesday also.

Wishing you all a wonderful day.

    Good Morning Everyone!
It looks like it will be another nice day here. I am not real sure about what is on the plan for today but whatever it is, it will be a nice day to be out and about.
I hope none of our group is threatened by the wild fires in Florida.  I think I saw this morning that is a case of arson. Why would any one do something like that?
Zora, sorry you lost at your siggy party. Must have been fun!
Beth, I love the siggy, just how I feel some days!
Margaret E, Congrats on your Weight Watchers success!
Paula, sounds like a busy day for you yesterday. Have a nice one today. Sounds like the Condo lady realized she should have taken your offer.
Mabel, Have a cheerful Day! I am glad you got to play cards and that Floyd enjoyed it.
I cooked a turkey over the weekend so today I will make turkey soup for supper and maybe we will have a turkey sandwich for lunch unless something else sounds good at the time. Blueberry bagels and cream cheese with coffee will be breakfast whenever Jim decides to get up.
I am adding lots of hugs, prayers and well wishes to all the baskets.
I am off to start a load of laundry and see what is next. Wishing Everyone A Happy Day!

Another quick run through to say, "Top of the morning," to everyone.

ZORA~~ Another great thought for the day.  I'm missing what "Day" it is today. After all I wait for that to dictate how I can celebrate each day. LOL

I'm another one who doesn't look at the date on the top. Just zip through life not knowing how to date my checks or timecard. 'smile'

I'm kicking it into overdrive and will chat with you all later.

Wishing you all blessings, big and small.

    Tippy

Quick zippity doo through the channel to see if Grub put some of those cheese scones on the platter....I do love scones!  We are sitting in a big green blob between the purple blob that just blew over us and the purple blob coming at us.  Luckily Sam got to the vet for teeth cleaning between purple people eaters.   Ahhh, life is good despite storms, Picasso is back at the feeder.  He's so pretty!

Hugs and prayers to everyone, see you this afternoon after the storms move on by.  btw, nothing deangerous about these particularly, just thunderstorms so want to shut down the computer...not to worry.

    Good morning, CS.

    Gray and rainy, here.

ZORA, I, too, wait for your special days. And, you thought of the day is good, too. I have used some in my other activities.

BETH, enjoy the coffee hour and the others will enjoy your goodies.

MARGARET E., congrats on the weight program. But, wondering if the bread and scones are on your carb list? LOL

PAULA, I see smoother days for you, and that's good.

MABEL, your card games will give Floyd something to look forward, too. Good friends, a game and conversation can make a soul feel good. Good wishes for the doctor visit for Floyd.

LOIS, that's what's nice about turkey. A few more meals from it and even some to freeze for later on.

TIPPY, I know you're busy with the girls and working. As for your overdrive, don't be speeding thru Rosendale------our TV station did a report on their little speed trap there, in town. They hand out tickets, left and right.

Quilting at church and then baking for my Bethesda meeting, tomorrow, also at my church.

Hugs and prayers for all CS.

    Nancy Z.

Morning to all…DH took my car to get the oil changed early this morning…it was 1000 miles overdue!! Yikes but…been kinda busy!! LOLWink
Zora, LOVE your siggies!!! LOL We went to the Crazy Horse last night on the way to Foley for the coin club meeting. Their dishwasher was broken so they were using foam plates & plastic utensils…I was cutting something and the knife was so heavy duty, it flung food all over as it *cut* the foam plate!! Eddy gets their fried shrimp sandwich and I usually get the salad plate but last night I just got a shrimp salad sandwich with the bread on the side. It’s good but messy and I didn’t feel like messing with messy!! LOL The new owner (3.5 months ago) came around announcing they now have wine & beer. The new owners have really put some $$$ into fixing the place up…looks nice.
Beth, love your siggie…how’d you get my picture??? LOL Hope you are having fun at your coffee this morning. Are you “soft”??? LOL
Margaret (E), congrats on the weight loss!! That’s great!! It is hard work…I need to get on the bandwagon…I’m sure the cardio will tell me that next week…
Paula, you sure are busy!! Good to see you…
Mabel, glad having friends over perked Floyd up…I’m sure that makes you feel better, too!!
Lois, my friend in Jacksonville has smoke all around her…we aren’t bothered by that fire but we have had one not too far from us here in Pensacola…I just heard a snippet of the news…don’t know what caused it. Around here, they are doing controlled burns to get rid of some of the dry vegetation to keep those bad fires from happening. We are lucky so far…
Tippy, has her roller skates on again…zipping thru!!! Waving to you, my friend!!!
Rosie, another one on roller skates!!! LOL They keep saying we are supposed to get rain this week…I’m waiting…but somehow…it just passes us by…each day the rain deficit grows….here we go again!! Be safe!!!
Nancy Z, have fun quilting and tomorrow. I’m sure they will love whatever you bake!!
Margaret, glad to *finally* know what was in your box!! I’m sure you will love all the goodies!!
Waving to all who follow…filling the baskets with lots of hugs and prayers for all…

    Good morning, Everyone –

ZORA, good thought for the day.  I’ve sent it on to someone who really needs to think about that!  Of course, I know he won’t think of himself that way, but there are times when I feel his “downs” show too much over little things.  Sigh

The mountains just north of me are on fire, the ones I can see from my kitchen window, so the helicopters are flying above me regularly.  It’s reportedly 15% contained.

MARGARET E, good for you!  It IS hard work to maintain!

I’m hoping to get to Trader Joe’s today…that’s always a fun

trip.  J Wishes, waves, & smiles for each of you - Helen

Good afternoon from a rainy & cloudy Indiana, it's only 55 out there, so a little on the cool side also.

DH going to work at noon today, too wet to haul corn this morning so he slept in, good to have him here, I'll be so glad when this season is all over.

Talked to DD this morning, she's not used to staying home with the kids all day, so they are driving her nuts, can't say as I blame her, a 1 & 2 year old would do that to me.........whew!

Just got our bedroom cleaned & a load of jeans in the dryer to fold.  DD #2 coming for dinner this evening, will be good to see her, been a week...........LOL!  Guess we'll have chicken fettuccine, one skillet meal, less to clean up.

It was time for Marissa to go on DWTS, glad Jason is still there, will be there next week for the finals, love that show.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Described as the UK's biggest butterfly conservation project to date, efforts are underway to transform woodlands in south-east England into butterfly-friendly habitats. Campaigners say many have become overgrown which has led to a sharp decline in species such as the pearl-bordered fritillary.

Took Mom for a thyroid test this morning and when I returned home my mare was about to paw the fence down as I had not fed her yet. Laundry awaits my attention as does a stack of dirty dishes. Had best get started if I want to accomplish anything before 3 y/o granddaughter arrives home.
