    Good morning!

Well, what a day I had yesterday!  The store manager called me into the office at 4pm and said that he had enrolled me in a sales course given by Dale Carnagie.  That was pretty cool to be the one chosen to do that.  The uncool thing is the course started last night!  So, instead of getting off at 5, I got home at 11.  So, another 16 hour day.  This course is pretty cool.  There was only 9 people last night.  Alot of participation, so I couldn't doze off!  Lots of homework.  Nine weeks, every Tuesday night.  It's a 45 minute drive to get there.

Anyhoo, because I worked all those hours yesterday, I get to leave at noon today!  So I'll be able to start my vacation a little early.  The kids did a great job yesterday.  I came home to a clean house and all of the laundry done and folded, kitchen cleaned, too!  It's going to be a great vacation if their moods stay that way!

Andy's last day of school is today.  They go back Aug. 1.

Well, I've got to be to work by 7.  I need to hit the showers.

Hugs and love to you all.  I'll try and jump on in the morning and say good bye for a week!

Margie, your dinner at church sounds wonderful and that is a great price. No way you could cook all that for 3.50 per person. Had kind of  a rough night. Up and down a lot, but since I slept most of the afternoon yesterday, should be ok. Stomach is still really hyperactive. I'm fine until I eat something, but then I have to eat something in order to have energy to keep going...Hopefully will be over this before tomorrow or else registry won't have hours one. I am working evening shift on Saturday because want to go to a lady's mom' funeral who used to work on afternoon shift. Friday I need to work a split shift in order to fit the physical for Banner in. If it wasn't for that, I would have called in today.Have to fill out the slip for Friday and get the union to sign off on it or else change the appointment.

    Have a good day everybody.

    Happy Wednesday!

    Good Morning Junies !

The ground is wet, we must've got rain overnight.  Looks overcast out there, so not sure I'll get outside today.

I have beds to do today.  For supper I am making pork roast, trying a new recipe.  I tried a new recipe last night for baking the fish, we loved it, I think I'll do it that way now, sure beats frying in all that oil.  I'll post the recipe later.   I'm thinking of making some muffins today, they sound good right now. Or maybe I'll try a new recipe out.

Margie -  Don't you hate that, when I get up late, I feel one step behind all day.  Supper at church sounds good and very reasonable.  Always seems to taste better when someone else makes it too.

Cherie -  congrats on getting to go to that class, sounds good!  Hope you have a super vacation!

{{Sherry}} - hope you feeling better.

    Good Morning.........Coffee

I got Dh off to work awhile ago and have gotten a few things done since then and laundry going. This morning I have some cleaning to do as well and get my grocery list finished.  I'm not sure what else I'll do yet -- I have a few more small jobs that I could do today or I may just relax for awile .... not sure yet.

Dh said yesterday afternoon when he got home from work that he noticed on one of the signs at one of the gas stations -- Gas was up to $3.95!!! Sad

Yesterday Dh decided to go ahead and start mowing so I went ahead and got the push mower out and got the trimming done -- He just mowed the backyard Sat. So he will probably do that over the weekend.  Also...the afternoon turned out to be really nice.

This morning we could see a few peaks of the sun and clouds moving in -- We are suppose to get a few off and on showers this afternoon and maybe a thunderstorm and tonight I think. Ugh!! Umbrella

Sherry~ Hope you feel better soon.

Jill~ Glad you got to see the new puppy -- Love the name.

    Cherie~ Have a great vacation...Hugs...

*Waving* hello to everyone~ Have a great day...Deb Smile

Good morning all.   The men are outside and just waiting on concrete trucks to pour concrete.  Then another step is done.  If you didn't see my second post yesterday, got to see Finn, what an adorable dog.  He was sleepy so just lay there.  So silky and a redish/brownish/golden color right now.  I'm off soon to take a friend for labs.  Then will try to mow later today.  To be warm and sunny.  May rain tomorrow.  Got bed changed but need to clean my room/bath but with Ed home my schedule goes out the window.  LOL

Margie, love the swing.  Hope you get to enjoy it alot.

Sherry, hope you are feeling better soon.  Hope your stomach calms down.

Patti, supper sound wonderful.   Love pork.  Sorry you can't get out today.

Cherie, congrats on being chosen, but sorry you had to work so long last night.  Glad they are letting you go early today.   Hope you have a wonderful relaxing vacation.

Deb, have a good day.  Hope you get everythign done you need to.

Need to get out in my garden later, see a bird got to the top of one tomato and not sure what got to another- it's almost cut thru but almost too high for a cut worm.  :(   Need to get the rest of my sweet potato plants.  Supper is rockfish Scott caught a few weeks ago.

Hi  well I am getting new carpet laid on Thursday and Scott came out yesterday and clearned out one room so everything is in one room,  I am staying home today to try to sort out stuff to toss and stuff to keep.  A co-worker is 40 today and we are having a luncheon for her..I baked two cakes at guess what time midnight...a fudge cake that you add a can of cherry pie  filling and a strawberry short cut cake...with a can of strawberry pie filling and cool whip, darn I won't be there to enjoy the good food.   This gal is not one of my favs, she is not that nice to anyone but her only friend is getting back at her by decorating her office with 40 stuff and ask us to bring in a dish to pass.   She will be mad    ha ha       well better go...take care all,  love your swing Margie and I love your hair longer....enjoy that lovely swing....Shirley

Margie, love the swing. It is just like the one Gregg got me except the fabric is different. We used to love sitting out there and drinking coffee at night when it was nice outside or in the daytime during the winter.

June friends, from a soggy NW Ohio! It's 53º & raining, supposed to for most of the day. Glad I got to work outside yesterday, though it would be nice to hang my laundry out today.

I got a lot accomplished yesterday and hope to again today, tho I just may take a break for a while and do some reading in a book I've started. I think I will make a casserole with the leftover roast beef I have.

Good Morning Ladies. Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday so far! it's going to ber another beautiful day here, sunny with temps in the 70's. Having a good day so far, with my usual morning routine. I paid some bills after getting dh off to work, and I already have one line of laundry on the clothesline, and second load is still in the wash. I just finished breakfast, and now I have to fiigure out what to clean today.  Supper for tonight will be velvetta casserole and a salad.

Our masonry work is coming along nicely, but it's an awful sight to see everything dug up! The guys worked really hard yesterday, getting here right before 9am, and not leaving until after 5:30. DH is very happy we hired that company.

Sounds like we're a busy bunch of junes today, but aren't we always!!

Maegie, I know what you mean about getting up a little late. That doesn't happen very often here, but when it does, it could really throw off your schedule. I love the picture of you on the swing, and NO. you don't look terrible!!Have fun at your churcg supper tonight. What a nice idea that is! The cake your making sound yummy too.

Cherie, How nice that you where able to come home to a clean and organized household. I bet you can't wait to start vacation. Thats great that your able to get out of work at noon today, kind of makes up for the late day yesterday. Enjoy your vacation!

Sherry,Sorry your not feling well. Hope your felling better soon. Try to enjoy your day!

Shirley, The cakes you are making sound so good.

Deb, We're also going to have a rainy day tomorrow. There is a chance of rain on the weekend also. I hope Saturday isn't bad because we're going to my  nieces house. her son is receiving First Holy Communion.

Patti, What kind of muffins are you going to make? Looks like a lot of baking going on today!!

Lisa, Hope you have a good day today despite the rain.

I'll close for now. HELLO to anyone I may have missed. have a great day!

Just a very quick pop on this morning to say GOOD MORNING ALL!!  I will pop on in a little bit if time allows.  Margie, your swing looks good and comfy and you did not look terrible.  Are we going to pick up the alphabet recipes?  We are on F if so. Sherry, hope you are feeling better soon.  Hate the tummy bugs.

If the kids are still alive at the end of the day, then I've done my job.

    Hi girls,

Margie - your swing is awesome!!!  I bet you will use that a lot.  Nice that it has a cover.  You DO NOT look awful at all!!  Have fun at your church dinner.  What is a honeybun cake? I've never heard of that one before.

Cherie - so glad to hear that the kids are cooperating!  Have a wonderful vacation - you DESERVE it!!!!

Sherry, hope you feel better.  Stomach bugs are the worst - ugh!  sending hugs Smile

Waving hello to Patti, Jill, Lisa, Denise, Deb and anyone else I might have missed.

Today after I take the kids to school I am meeting some friends for coffee and then heading to the gym for about an hour.  After that I have to head home and make 2 dozen cross-shaped sugar cookies for Tommy's class retreat tomorrow.  Also Ray volunteered me to make some dinners for a girl in his office that had a baby.  Not sure what I am going to make yet, so I have to figure that out and make my grocery list, etc.

Not sure what we are having for dinner tonight.  The kids are now on a swim team and that goes until 6 so I want to have something fast.  Maybe grilled hot dogs......hmmm

Well, I better get going to get the boys up for school.  They were up late last night watching the Angel game with me and Ray.  Donnie and Tommy are done with school on the 11th of June - can't wait!!

    Have a wonderful day, friends!!

Re: June Cleaver Club Wednesday 5/14/08

Good morning from a gray & chilly WI.  We went b-day shopping last night for dd.  She will be 16 in two weeks.  She wants a bass guitar & amp.  Oh my goodness, there were a million guitars at the store we went too.  How one chooses I have no idea.  We decided that we will give her a set amount of $ which will cover a guitar & amp as long as she doesn't want one of the real expensive ones.  We told her if she did want one of the more expensive ones she'd have to pitch in her own $.  She has no problem with that.

Supper tonight is going to be homemade mac & cheese, a veggie of some sort, biscuits & a banana creme pie.   I got some more of my onions planted yesterday.  Also weeded out some of the strawberry bed, lots of blossoms.  Unfortunatly the winter was not good for my strawberries, I lost more than half my plants.

Margie, not only does your supper tonight sound good, it is a great deal.  Have fun.  Love your swing, thanks for posting a pic of it.

Cherie, hope you have a great afternoon off of work.  Nice about the class, but sucky about the last minute part of it.  That was so nice of the kids to clean for you.  I know when my kids clean without me asking it makes it much more special.  Probably because it doesn't happen very often.

Sherry, I hope you get to feeling better soon.  It sucks being sick.

I'll just have to give a general "Hello" to everyone else, I can smell a not so fresh diaper coming my way.  Enjoy your day.

    Becky
