!! (Don't look if you hate spiders!)

What a lovely thing to find on the bedroom floor first thing in the morning.......

He/she was already dead, so one of my cats must have gotten it.  I immediately checked both cats for any bites or swelling and luckily, they were fine.   

 I'm not sure what it is, but I'm glad it didn't join us in bed!

Not something I'd want to wake up to!

I'll never forget the big wolf spider I found in a hotel room near Seattle.  It was so big I probably could have shot it.  I had them move me...

At first I thought this one was a Wolf, but it doesn't have the stripes on its back or the typical markings.  It sure is big & hairy enough to be a cousin of that spider, though!  

WashingtonChou.....if I found one in my motel room, they would be putting me up in another hotel for free!!!!!! LOL!! I can't stand spiders!!!

 Summer, you need to post this over on today's photo challenge. I think it would qualify as a small thing in your house - LOL.

Well he's not technically "in" my house any more.....I sent him flying off the upstairs deck after I took his picture!     He's probably been lunch for some ants by now.

I found this spider in my basement sink today. It's not quite as large as yours, although it's pretty close. They look very similar, don't they?

I captured my spider in a glass and released it outdoors in my garden, where it can make a good living. Hopefully it will eat some of those psyllids that are living in my boxwoods.
