    BEACH FINGER FOODS

We are planning a day trip to the beach on the ocean.  We will set up our umbrella and chairs and just enjoy the sights.  Friends of ours have reserved a camping spot on the ocean with their camper.  We were too late to get one for ourselves which is why we will go for the day.

I want to bring finger foods to munch on.  I'm going to make some brownies but would like to satisfy the savory/salt side as well.

I would appreciate any ideas you can give me.

    Thanks!

    Kathy

Growing up we went to the beach often, and my favorite was plain ol tuna fish sandwiches.  Something about them with that salty air.

We like to take along fried chicken and boiled eggs.

We love taking sandwiches that are made with fresh bread from the bakery.   watermelon chunks also always go with me to the beach.

And like Junglejana says tuna,      I actually will only eat a tuna sandwich when Im sitting at the beach LoL  I know it sounds crazy but its true.  (dont forget a nice big bag of Lays potatoe chips.

Raw veggies, dip, pretzels, string cheese, cookies, along w/cut up melons, whole pieces of fruit (I'd look for small peaches, nectarines, apricots, strawberries), peanut butter & jelly sandwiches cut in quarters, chicken legs and/or wings - how hardy do you want to eat?  Just light snacks or something more filling?
