Alaska Prof I tried to give you my thoughts in the PM post...

In case you don't go back there I just wanted to let you know I did post an answer to your question.  Of course it's just the way I see it, which is all I really have. lol.  Just wanted to let you know.   It's there in that PM post.

Thanks you did a great job.  I would still like to hear from at least one of those who are hate filled about this.

Well, I'm not sure what that's all about, but as one who is filled with hate on a few different levels, I have posted my take on being hate-filled on Disney's thread.

No big secret.  Just that I would like to see where Jesus said anything at all about homosexuality.

I just found it.  Prof, with all due love and respect, it's not something to concern yourself about.  The majority of Christians I've met have enough trouble remembering the things Jesus DID say.  Trying to make them find the things he DIDN'T say only makes them make stuff up.

It certainly isn't the majority of Christians I've met - but it sure is a lot of them - anymore!  And it isn't just the things Jesus said - it's the Bible in general.  I had a supervisor who chastised me for being against the death penalty.  She said the Bible specifically said it was not only okay - but required.  I reminded her that the Bible also said "Thou shalt not kill" to which she replied "It only says that thou shalt not kill thy father or mother".  She must have a Reader's Digest Condensed Version!!  LOL!
