The Rose Room ***May 16, 2008***

Morning Ladies!! Hope all are well and those who are ill are feeling much better.

Got a LOT of stuff moved Tuesday and a load yesterday. I've everything I need to make a stand this weekend LOL. I still have to bring over the kitchen table and chairs but it can wait until Monday or Tuesday. Taffy is adjusting slowly. I left here here while I went to get another load. I don't want to confuse her by bringing her back and forth. She's been whining a lot, not staying outside long at all (she use to spend all day out and didn't want to come in). Yesterday she layed in the dark bathroom a good hour. Someone please tell me she'll adjust soon. It's breaking my heart.

Well, better go do chores. See you in the am.

    Good morning everyone.

IM, maybe once you get settled in and Taffy realizes you will be there with her full time; and able to take her for walks she will adjust to your new digs. Anyway let us hope.

    Good morning.

Nothing new here. I hope that everyone starts feeling better.

    Pat safe trip please.

Not sleeping here and hurting all the time makes me a very unhappy person. Poor Lyle is probably tired of me waking him up saying ouch. I guess I do that a lot. I want a body transplant. LOL

Off to get ready for work.

IM the poor baby will settle down after your all moved in.

    Good morning everyone.

Kelly's Mission, Bathroom:  Time to enjoy the fruits of your labor after a week of scrubbing and cleaning.  Take a bath or shower and enjoy it!

Laundry Room:  Place a picture of your family or favorite pet or something that is special to you in your laundry room.  This allows you to see something pleasant when you are blessing the laundry.

    Safe trip Pat.

IM - A Maizey said Taffy should get used to the new house when you can spend more time with her there.

Lynn - Do you take anything for the pain when you go to bed?  About 1 or 1/2 hour before bed is when I take Aleve.

Jane - DD didn't get that job but she has sent out several applications and hasn't heard from anyone yet.  She may stay in AZ till the begining of Aug.  She has been offered a job teaching ESL in Tempe HS.

DNephew brought his tiller over and did our garden.  Just have to go get the plants now.  Don't you know it's raining today!  I spent some time working outside yesterday.  Weeding never gets done.  lol

I have a meeting this afternoon... well actually late morning.  We were supposed to plant flowers at the Danish Home but it's raining pretty hard.  We'll have our brown bag lunch, then the meeting.  Also have to run to the drug store and grocery store.  Out of milk and I may be able to pick up the first roll of film from our trip.

    Have a great day.

    Dori

    Hi Rosies!

It's gonna be a HOT one here today setting record temps about 95°.  Right now, it's about 80° and I wish it would stay there.  Not much planned except trying to finish my book.  I'm supposed to loan it to my Italian friend who is leaving for Italy in the morning.  Most likely will be babysitting tonight as DS#1 and DIL want to go out with friends.  DS#3 and #4 are both going to be camping so it will just be me, DH, and baby.  Hoping that DH picks up some supper on his way home from work.

Lynn, hope you get to feeling less pain.  It is difficult to sleep that way.

Hugs to all.  Have a great Friday!~~~~Laura

    Just say NO to B.O.

    Hi again.

I just got home from my meeting and errands. No planting today.  I thought I'd be able to pick up some pictures but they didn't come in yet so now it's not till Monday!  If I knew that I'd have just taken them to Costco and roamed around the store for an hour.  They probably would have been ready for me.  Oh well.  Live and learn.

Jane - I forgot to add that the job DD was offered is a summer school thing and would be over by the end of July.  Hope you feel better soon.  No fun being sick on a Week End!

Laure - Sounds like your DIL is feeling a lot better.  Glad to see that.  Bad enough to come home with a new baby and your hormones all out of wack but also have the headachs she had!  Uff Dah!!!

    Better go see about dinner.

    Have a great evening everyone.

Dori, my DIL is much improved.  Of course, it hasn't been without a few trials to get there.  But for now, her migraines are under control.  That one she got with her first period lasted 2 weeks!

They took the baby to a pediatric urologist this morning.  He does have a hydrocele but it's abnormal.  Also, one testicle didn't descend completely at birth.  So, they're looking at surgery in 2-3 weeks.

As far as my health, I'm quite a bit better.  The breathing problems are not 100% gone, but almost.  I think when the doctor did the biopsy he removed a lot of the obstruction in the process.  I go back next month for a follow-up appointment.

    Just say NO to B.O.

Re: The Rose Room ***May 16, 2008***

It was 98 yesterday and today.  No breeze to speak.  I need to get a new fan for the bedroom.  Have the ceiling fan on in the living room.  Do not want to put the swamp cooler to work as we are supposed to get back down to the 70s again the middle of the week.   The first week of work went well with the lady.  Her son was doing some major things in the house.  Also they are trying to get more room in the bedroom to move things around and have more maneurability room there.

4boys, sorry that the grandson is going to have to have surgery.  I had a friend whose son had it back in the late 70s and he is doing well.  The same thing happened shortly after he was born.

CBW, glad you had a good time with Jordyn.

    Pat, a safe journey.

I think I am going to forget about watching numbers tonight and just put my feet up in the bed.  I also need to put the heaters away and bring the swamp cooler in from the shed.

Jane, how are you doing?  Maizey, how is your family?
