 Thanks my friends.  Since the bicycle was my main present, we'll probably go for a bit of a ride if it doesn't get to unbelievably hot out (it hit 106 at my house yesterday).

 Otherwise I plan to putter in the garden and take frequent dips in the wading pool, and try not to spend too much time wondering how I can possibly be 45.

 No cake, but the one thing I forgot to mention on the other very sweet birthday thread (Thank you all!) is that I made some mocha icecream which came out incredible.  I haven't served it yet, but of course I did lick the spatchula and the beater blade from the icecream maker.

 I was incredibly kind of you to make a special thread for my birthday.  It made me feel really good.  Thank you.

You say it's your birthday....it's my birthday too!

My husband and I were going to go on a charity bike ride for visually impaired, but instead of getting some good saddle time in, we went out for breakfast.  Mmmm..banana pancakes with coconut banana butter. 

We had my son's birthday party today (he's 5 on the 21st).  It was an awesome party.  It was fun to share "my day" with him. 

Tonight I get to pick where we're going for supper.
