I really have to hand it to my sisters and neice. They did an awesome job! It was beautifull. I did'nt do a thing except help clean up
My neice had everything decorated with purple and fushia tulle, butterflys and dragonflys, flowers and greenery. The tables had centerpieces that were betta fish with a pretty deep pink and opal colored rocks.
The food was yummy. We had salad, meatballs that were saucey but spicey, chicken tenders, fruitsalad, rolls, chicken salad and egg salad on crossants (sp?), chocolate covered strawberrys - my favorite. For the first time ever, I had the chicken salad made with green grapes.... oh my gosh they were yummy! I can't quite eating the leftover chicken ones! lol
We played a couple games, the one where you cross your legs and someone takes your binky, bingo, which a bunch of people got to win, and the first person that called and reserved got a special prize.
All in all it was a great party! But, man oh man, I did'nt expect the turn out we had. I really thought not so many people would show so I was really happy with the turn out and oh my goodness all the stuff she got. My livingroom is filled with bags and stuff.
But, I really wish you all could see this cradle that my sis in law made. It is absolutely gorgeous! I will ask DD to take a picture tomarro so that I can post this. This cradle is huge and if we pull out the knobs it swings. She also made my other DD's which is completely different. It is much smaller and rocks. I loved that one too just because it was small and fit perfectly in my livingroom.
Ok, well I've gabbed enough, I'm exhausted but I wanted to share. I am soon off to crawl in bed so that tomarro, I can attempt to help DD find somewhere or sort out my livingroom. lol
