    *~* THE ROSE ROOM *~* SUNDAY MAY 18, 2008

Good We Hours of the Morning, Buds!  The Insomniac Filly is strolling in the garden at 1AM!  The gate has been opened, so Y'all come on in!  LYNN:  102?????!  OMG, that is hotter than here!  How strange!  I hope that you have AC!  C&BW:  Happy to hear that Jordyn enjoyed her BD party!  It is so hard to believe that she is a year old already!  LAURA:  Praying for little Hayden's surgery to go well without any complications.  Happy Birthday to your DH!  TANGO:  Wahoooo!  Congrats on winning the goodies!  FLUFFY:  It's good to hear from you!  I hope that things will improve soon!  IMSPECL:  How did the reception go?  I hope that you were not too tired to enjoy the festivities!  MAIZEY:  Can't wait to see pics of those gorgeous flowers!  I have the most beautiful Dutch Irises now.  They came from over at the old house as my Mama planted them many years ago.  It warms my heart to see them.  Well, I have to get up & go to church in the morning since we did not go last Sunday.  My IBS flared up horribly last weekend because of stress that DS is putting DH & me through!  PIP:  Glad to hear that you had a good time even with the ornery boys!  LOL!  Waving to all of the Rosebuddies!  Later, Taters!  ~Jeanne

    Good morning.

I didn't last all day at the scrapbooking. I left there around 3:00. I was so tired that I wasn't getting anything productive done. Came home and was in bed by 7:00. And I actually SLEPT. It feels so good to sleep. LOL

I am off for coffee if anyone wants some.

    Hi Roses!

A peaceful day in The Rose Room!  Got to church early this morning but there was no priest! Hegot caught in a highway project coming "over the pass" as we  call it and was about 15 minutes late!  Father Luan is a Chaplan in the Air Force Reserves and when he is gone we get these really geriatric priests from a retirement home.  I fear for them driving,  One is about 4 feet tall. Looks like a Leprechan and delivers the longest homilies you ever heard.  I think he forgets what he is talking about and just rambles.  Makes for long services!

Samantha has a birthday party to go to this afternoon and she is really looking forward to going. It's one of her friends from here when they used to live here.  I love for her to have things she enjoys doing when she visits.  We had a great dinner last nite.  Fluffy's marienated chicken! Boy that marinade is good. And BLT salad. My favorite macaroni salad.

Another overly warm day today.  You'll not hear me complain about the weather tho.  I love the sunshine!

Jeanne, I know what you mean about the IBS!  Isn't that the pits? Have been having my share of problems in that department too.  The dr. gave me a new RX.  I don't think it works as well as the good old Imodiam but it kind of relaxes you so I guess you don't care if you're "on the run"!

Diana, will we get to see pictures of the birthday party?  I can't believe Jordyn is a year old!

    Have a great Sunday!

    Hi Rosies!

A nice day here, and not supposed to be so hot.  Last night was so much fun!  DH and I showed up at the "club".  We went up to a room above the bowling lanes and about 30 people yelled "Surprise" to my DH.  He knew that something was up, but not so big.  We have about 4 Costco pizzas left over so you can guess whats for dinner.  After the food and gift opening, we all went down and bowled.  Lots of people said it was one of the more fun parties they'd been to.  And the nice thing was, we were all home by 9:00!

I didn't go to church this morning.  Have the monthly flu and stayed in bed.  Finished my book, though.  If you get a chance to find it, do so.  The title is "The Shack".

Hugs to all.  Have a blessed Sunday!~~~Laura

    Just say NO to B.O.

Checking in before I go to the laundramat.  Went to church this am and will go to the contemporary service.  Need to get the laundry done before I go tomorrow. I have one posting done and then another to finish when I get home.

4boys, glad the birthday party went well.  Fluffy hope you are doing well.

I start another week with the new job.  Seems to be going well.  A week from Monday I intend to go up to Eagle Point National Cemetery for the service up there. Will pick up some roses to take out there.  Hope everyone has a great eening.  Hugs to all.

     Hi Rosies,

We are safe in Nj.  We arrived yesterday about 5:00p.m.!  Lily was such a pleasure to travel with....never cried or barked.

I am sitting in, what is left of Tiffanys dorm room, Hubby and Tiffany packed most of it up today while Kim and I went shopping to find Kim a dress for the Graduation!

We are gong to get dressed now here, for the Parent/Graduate dinner. Kimberly will take Lily to her dorm and watch her while we are at the dinner!

We are probably leaving on Thursday to head back to Texas with Tiffany & Alayna.....then they will drive back here the following Thursday!

Hope everyone is doing well here....didn't have tome to read any other day but today!!!

Well, I finially got on here - I did get on after church, but could n't post, then tried later and couldn't get in at all.  Almost didn't try now - thought it would be morning before things were fixed.. A pleasant surprise.

Had a nap since I didn't sleep well last night, and went to the WC and washed the mirrors in the box that I've just been looking at for a couple of weeks. Glad to have that job done. Called GF, as it's her 27 BD today and called DS's godmother.  I try to call every few weeks as she dosent' get out much, and I really doubt if she will be at the wedding.

I need to get something together for supper now - I browned some burger last night, and I need to do something with it now.

    Hi

I have to make this short because I am able to head out the door for evening service. I don't have to hurry since no one is one time. What is with that?

Laura, what is with the baby? I will have to go back and look. I hope all is ok.

Pat, did you go by me and not yell out hi? I didn't hear you. Have fun.

Cook, wow, the baby is a year already? HB to her.

    Gotta run
