June Cleaver Club Sunday 5/18/08

Ladies,This BB must hate me.I was going to start the post last night and it wouldn't let me on and this morning it has took over hour just to get this page up.GRR

 

How I don't have alot of time to chat.Never did get to the bakery are farmer's market.Me and James got up and sneaked off to Burger King for breakfast,then we when to Home Depot and got a new weed eater and then to the grocery store.James & daniel when to his aunts and Me Emily was stuck at home.

 

After dinner last night we all rode to cookout for Milk shakes and took a ride then home to watch the race.(My man Kasey won)

 

Going to church this morning and then we have a cookout and award thing to go to for Emily at her school.But it looks like it is going to pour down.

 

So what is all of your plans for today?

Hate to cut this short but need to go fix some breakfast before church.

Margie, this bb hates me too.  It locked up my computer earlier and it is taking me forever to bring it up then post.   Almost gave up.  

Glad ;you got out for breakfast yesterday and again last eve.  Sorry you didn't get to the farmer's market.   Have a good day.   We are to get rain later too.

 

Have church here this am.  Then heading to Scott's for lunch, didn't want them to have to leave the puppy for too long, plus I get puppy time in.  I posted a pic last eve on yesterday's post.  He is so very adorable.   I'm bringing spinach/strawberry salad.  Getting a few of my own strawberries but got soem nice ones at Sam's, plus also got some apricots (fresh) at Sam's.  We are getting spinach and some lettuce.  Yum!!!  Ed is fixing up the plastic over the concrete so it doesn't blow as much.   Got super windy again yesterday and it was blowing up up up, tho didn't blow away. LOL  So tightening down the hatches.  Rain is good for it as apparently cures better with humidity so wets the top and some goes in the cracks but plastic helps keep humidity up.

Good Morning.....

I'm just getting a chance to sit down at the pc again for a few minutes b4 I finish tidying up this AM -- Woke up to some rain passing through the area and alittle windy at times. Temp to be in the upper 60*s today. Hopefully it won't rain all day today. 

Slept in this morning and already had our breakfast ...

The boy's party went great -- They had a great time. I took alot of pics.

My connection seems to be slow for me this morning  - Grrr...

Dh and I are going to my mom's this afternoon.....

We all seem to be having computer problems or board problems today. It has taken me over an hour just to get on the board. Im tired. We got overtime last night so I didn't get in until after 2 am. I knew we would get it when my shift was still there when I came in to work afternoon shift. Margie, congratulations to emily. Hope it doesn't rain too hard. Jill, I will have to try and find puppy picture you posted yesterday. How cute puppies are! The boss on afternoon shift showed me a picture of her dog who is a golden retriever mix and her cat (which is a litter mate of mine)--the cat was curled up on top of the dog and sleeping up there. So cute! Deb, those were great pics of the party that you sent. The cake was really neat. I bet they loved that. Have church today and might be getting together with the old friends and have to run by Safeway to get RX filled. Other than that, probably not much other than digging out my birth certificate to take to Banner tomorrow. Have a great day everybody

Finally!  Reiman's must be having problems, I have no problems else where. I've been trying for hours!

 

Well.... I pulled a doozy yesterday.

Was a beautiful day. Great day to get started on the garden. Was out there about 15 min., headed to garage to get something, came out of garage, stepped off cement driveway edge wrong. CRUNCH! Yeeeeowwwwwww!

Hubby scooped me up - glad he happened to be out there working on one of his trucks. Headed to ER. Xrays show no breaks (TG!) Apparently I pulled (strained) my ligaments behind my knee.

I am now in a knee immobolizer and on crutches. I have to stay off of it for 2 days and then ween myself off the crutches and gradually put the pressure back on that leg. Follow up with family doc on Friday.

Geesh.... didn't really need or want this right now. (who would right?) I'm really hating this.

So, that put a kabosh on the gardening for the day and probably for rest of week.

 

Gonna get off of here before it gets me again.

Wow, I'm like everyone else.  Could never get on this morning!  I finally took down my firewall and then it let me in....I've never had to do that before.  Just got home from church....this afternoon is Jennifer's funeral, so I will go to that at 3 pm.  Very sad....
