Sunday: What's Cookin' (May 18, 2008)(7:09 a.m.)

Good Morning, Thank you to all of you who have been keeping this going. I had time this morning and wanted to tell you all HI.

 It's suppose to get to the mid to upper 80's today.  90's this week.  Unreal.

Been very busy around here with end of year activities, field trip and getting ready for Kris's 6th grade graduation.

 Yesterday, Michelle had a family graduation party.  We had lots of fun.  Good food and we played volleyball, ohjust several games.

Lunch today will be motzechilli and green beans.

Then over to the kids to load up everything for getting things set up at the school tomorrow afternoon for the graduation.  We found out Friday that Kris will be valedictorian for her class.  We are very proud of her.

Mikki also had a huge accomplishment.  Only six kids in her class made their reading challange.  Monday the six kids get to have pizza, movie and ice cream.  That will be a fun day for her.

Michelle and I will go up tomorrow afternoon and another mom will be there and we'll decorate and get the serving table set up.

Very special day.

Jim and I, other than going over and having Jim and Sam load up the stuff, are going to RELAX today.

We are so thankful we are here and where we can help.  Michelle still cannot drive.

I've missed you all.  Even if I'm not posting, I do think about you.

I have not been on here lately either. I have been working for a little locker and they are so busy and not getting home until 5:45 at night. This week will take off at 3:00 as *** needs help to load the planter with beans. Our twins have a dance recital on Friday so would like us to come.They are 6 and so nervous about this. Is at Norfolk Ne. If I go will stay the night. Their names are Paige and Piper.

We aren't going to make it to church today have lots to do outside here on projects we have started.It was really windy yesterday and supposed to be better today. Is 49* out here already.

We had biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast and not cooking rest of the day. I feel special ! We are taking camper in town to power wash outside. Inside and storage all clean!

High today 63 cloudy, rain will be moving in shortly.

I was going to fix chicken/dumpling today, but dd won't be home till late, so I'm thinking that 's tomorrow menu.

I'll fix sausage, eggs and grits for myself.

Its dark and gloomy, cold and damp in our neighborhood today.

We will be having Country Fried Steak with Cream Gravy, Fried Potatoes and Squash. Still have some of my Strawberry Rhubarb Pie left, too.

We had Italian and garlic bread and salad.I think this board is going.Hate to see it; but this new way is not good

Good morning, its already 12;30, DH and I just got home from brunch at the casino, nobody seemed in a hurry to leave today so we just sat a while and visited, it was so beautiful out, we put the top down on the ride home.

Dinner tonight is just going to be ham and cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, fresh fruit for dessert. I'm headed outside and work for a while, got to enjoy this beauutiful  weather while we have it, its suppose to rain this  week. Enjoy your day. Judy

 After a 95 degree day yesterday, It is pleasant being in the low 80's. We enjoyed breakast lunch on the deck. I think it will be teriyaki chicken, rice and salad!

We have a terrific pastor.  During service a member has some heart problems.  He left the sanctuary and members were helping him.  When the minister saw the ambulance pull up he sent the elders out to be with the gentleman and then a few minutes later, he stopped his sermon and turned the service over to another man who led us in a prayer timeso he could go out.   

 Dh just brought home some compost so I will go help him unload!

Have fun with all the graduation activities.  We do not have 6th grade valedictorians around here! What pays off financially is high school valedictorians and graduating with honors from college!  I am sure your grand daughter will continue to excell scholastically! 

 We got up to 91.

 The grade school she goes to is an independent school.  Not with the Ponca City School System.

 The in town schools does not have the graduation in the grade school, but they always have where the girls go.  It's just a small country school.

 Kris and Mikki, when in 7th grade, will be going to Ponca City Schools
