As a kid, I remember several fads coming and going.

I know there's more, but I remember these coming and going and haven't really seen them in a while. I remember it was a deal where all the kids had to have one.

Does anyone remember the blouses that looked like Dr. Kildare's shirts?  I had one of those.

 I remember the Dr. Kildare-type shirts Jo.  Too funny.

Remember wearing midi and maxi dresses to school? 

cruising the streets in town to see who was out and about and with whom.

juke boxes in nearly every cafe; you put in a coin and made your choice of songs.

going to roller skating rinks for social fun.

The hanging thingy from the cars rear view mirror that swayed back and forth as you drove.

talking in a secret code betw friends so that we could talk without anyone else understanding.

The original mini-skirts.  I know they came back - they led the the Mini car which has also made a come-back.  We have a new Mini car, but I will not go back to mini skirts!!!!
