    Kindergarten "almost" sleepover.....cute idea

    My GD just received this invite.....What a cute idea for 5 and 6 year olds....and even older girls...

     
    I've talked to some people about hosting an end-of-year "almost sleepover" for the girls. The girls can come over in their pj's with their sleeping bags, eat pizza & watch a movie before being picked up. I'm thinking a Friday night at 6:00pm to 8:30 or 9:00pm. I'll order pizza and any parents who want to stay & chat/help are welcome. We need to come up with a movie everyone will like. Maybe High School Musical or Hairspray or whatever anyone else thinks would be good.

    This is a really great idea!!

    It is a cute idea. I would choose a movie like one of the The Land Before Time ones. There is a new one out.( The Wisdom of Friends ) I think 5 and 6 is a little young for High School Musical or Hairspray. 

    It's true that every time you hear a bell, an angel gets his wings. But what they don't tell you is, every time you hear a mouse trap snap, an angel gets set on fire.

    I've heard of this idea and it works really well because kids that age aren't ready to sleep over with a bunch of kids, and at bedtime they can go home to their own bed and everyone is happy.  It's very popular here.  Good idea.

    You'll need a more age-appropriate movie though.  Ask around.
