Grannyfay, that is so sad.  My cosmic thoughts go out to the family.  Believe it or not, I have always liked Chapman.  I can't even imagine how something like this might affect a family.

Things like this just should not happen!

A family at our church had a similar thing happen -- the mom ran over the daughter, about the same age.  They will never get over this.  My heart goes out to their teenage son, I do hope he gets thru this okay.

Yes, SOF, he has always seemed like a very nice man. I don't know him personally but he is from our area and still has family here (in Paducah).

MomTLJK,  I can't either--it has to be THE worst kind of pain!

Magnetqueen, it is. :(  Yes, Honey, prayer and faith in God will get them through this.

Pinky, I agree.  Things like this should not happen but they do so much. :(  Sad about that Mom and DD you told about, too!

Now I need to run for now.  Hugs to all of you!

Prayers for this whole family and peace especially for the brother who had this terrible accident. That has got to be the worst type  of thing to live through.

It's difficult to understand some things & why.

    My condolences to this family.

That is so sad!  How terrible the son must feel.

With a vehicle that sits up like that it's hard to see.  I almost ran over a boy this morning at my dd's bus stop.  Before I pulled up to let dd out, I checked his porch to see if he was going to school this morning and he wasn't out there.  I put my car in reverse and when I looked back to see if it was clear, he was right there behind me!  He usually runs out in front of my car.  He's never run behind it.  He is also old enough to know better than to run behind a car.

My heart cries out for the family.  They are in my prayers.  The boy must be just sick about this.

That is tragic, I know who Stephen Curtis Chapman is and have listented to his music all my life. I am very saddened by this and I can't even imagine what the brother is going through. I pray that he finds the strength to get through this and it's nice to know that Steven has a alot of support out there from his circle of singers that he's worked with over the years.

My prayers are going out to this family.
