Marion, sorry to hear of your troubles, that stinks! Hey, did you know that in Canada, you cannot sell alchohol of any type in stores? Only in liquor stores. So needless to say, the first time I went into a convinience store when I was in the US as a teenager, I thought I had the wrong store!! To me, it is strange seeing a mom with her kids and grocery cart and having a case of beer in it, just so wrong to my Canadian mindset. But in Canada, you can drink legally at age 19. Just another difference between our two wonderful countries.
Cookie, please don't share your talent with me! don't try to teach me! I quite enjoy watching DH do these sort of projects. Right now, he is making a deck chair for me.
Jenn, my DH does mostly framework, but his true passion also lies in furniture/cabinet and designing and building decks. If he could make a living doing that, he would, but at this point, we have several talented cabinetmakers in our town, and DH loves to visit and work with them. The one guy let DH use his cabinet shop to finish our cabinets, free of charge. One day that guy will retire, who knows, maybe DH can continue his work???
Well, pam isn't outside enjoying her weather, she is much to wimpy for these temps that she has today LOL.
