Anybody else happily in the dark around here sometimes???

When I read some of these posts about some of the stuff going on around here sometimes I'm just happy to NOT know what anybody is talking about!Huh?

Peachy, I am right there with ya, but sometimes I know that all I have to do is pull up the posts and read what happened but then that takes all the fun out of sitting here and trying to figure out what happened and who said what! LOL!

Sometimes I find it ammusing to just see the after effects and going back and forth.

I know what you mean.  I stoped watching news regularly because of that reason.  Things happen, and almost all of them there is nothing I can do about it.  If you read/see too much, it can get really depressing, and also make you scared of your own shadow.  I dont' want to live in fear of the unkown.  I now watch/read stuff only enough to keep me in the know.

Peachy, I am with you all the way. I avoid those like the plague. I have enough going on in my life that I don't need all that other stuff. Have you gotten your new computer yet?    MarineMom

Some times it is better to be blindly naive as to fall into the well. Much of it seems so silly when it isn't downright rank. And, it truly doesn't accomplish anything.
Much of it is simply trying to justify illusions. So, better to just pass it on by as pretty soon it will get redundant and fade to a dimness even those involved can't see through.
Just enjoy those you can while here.. And, do have a great day. I sure plan on doing just that..

Peachygirl, I don't think it's you who is in the dark  :)

It doesn't take much to see what's going on, especially since it's the same predictable stuff that's gone on so many times before.  Same show, different channel, is all.

Yes, DJ, I used to find it mildly amusing too.  But now it goes beyond amusing to silly, and finally lands in a pile of pity.

Molly, I find it much more pleasant here, 'outside the loop'.  Sure beats running with the herd, lol.

I'm sure with the rest of you.  I do have a life outside of this BB, and when it gets nasty, I just find it much more convenient to stay away for a while.  I don't like the bashing etc. that goes on here, so only read what interests me, and the recent "stuff" does not interest me, so they can continue to their heart's content, it's much more interesting to me to see who does NOT post to this kind of garbage....to each his/her own..............Gram  Smile

MarineMom, not yet!  I did see that it has been shipped today so maybe in a couple of days I will have it.  We can't wait!  Our old one was about 7 yrs old, so it was actually time for another one.  However, I'd still be using the old one had it not been for the storm.  I guess sometimes things can be blessings in disguise!  LOL!  I will not be replacing my treadmill, however, since I paid $100 for it and am sure I could not get another deal like that one.  I've gone back to doing my "Slim in 6" DVDs and can sure tell a big difference even after 1 week.  I guess I just didn't work hard enough on the treadmill and not enough muscle groups.

Yes, I'll stay happily in the dark because when the light goes on, it's not a pretty sight (site?).  I enjoy the nice posts and try to stay away from the controversial ones.  Better to SOB than get involved.  "This too shall pass."

Very happy to stay in the dark,  I try really hard to practice "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything.  Not always easy but always turns out for the best.

Me too buckeyenut.  I try so hard to sit on my hands but instead of staying in the dark I stay out of the darkness, lol.

You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometime, you might find, you get what you need.

I also am clueless these days, and I guess I must prefer it that way for now. Too much drama sometimes. I already have enough drama in my "real" life. LOL! I really haven't been in here as much lately, and tomorrow I go away for 5 weeks so I guess I will really be in the dark when I get back here. LOL!

Wishing everyone good times in June! :-)

Where are you going for so long MM?  I'll be going to Pigeon Forge the 3rd week of June, but plan on spending the rest of my summer at home doing stuff around the house with the kids.

Peachy you are one smart lady. I don't know most of the time and it is just easier. But no matter what it is a shame when it hurts someone. Most of our lives are about as full as they can get so coming here is a release. It should be enjoyable.
