    Swedish Apple Pie

I just finished making a dessert for dinner.  It's so easy, goes together fast, and is so good that I thought I would share the recipe.

    SWEDISH APPLE PIE

1 can (30 oz.) apple pie filling

    1 cup flour

    2/3 cup sugar

    1 tsp. baking powder

    1/4 tsp. salt

    1 stick margarine, melted

    1 egg, slightly beaten

1/2 cup chopped nuts (Can omit.)

Spread pie filling in a 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.  Combine dry ingredients; add beaten egg and margarine.  Mix together.  Stir in nuts.  Drop batter from spoon to cover the pie filling.  Bake in preheated oven (350 degrees) for 35-45 minutes Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.  (Can substitute other fruit pie filling.)

    Enjoy! Smile
