Thanks, Mary Jane. You can get a book called "Positively Pineapple" and it tells you how to do it in the strip method the same as a Log Cabin. It is really easy. Chris

That sounds great, Chris. Sounds just like what I am looking for. If it is half as easy as the Log Cabin I'm all set. I'll certainly look for it. Does anybody else have this problem? Everything I write always ends up in one paragraph, no matter how many paragraphs I type or lines between paragraphs. Mary Jane

Mary Jane, That happens to us all,LOL. You just live with it I guess. Hope you look up that book as I am going to do another Pineapple because it is so easy and looks so nice. Chris

I just found out that the two books I ordered will get here Monday or Tuesday. That's the John Flynn book for the Double Wedding Ring and I also ordered Eleanor's "Still Stripping After 25 years". Am anxious to see what Eleanor's patterns look like in this book. Chris, the Pineapple pattern I have found on the web says you have to have a special ruler. Do you have this? Is it necessary? I won't be able to get out to look for this probably until at least Sunday. It's messy out today and we may have storms this afternoon and all day tomorrow is looking about the same. Next week is looking cooler and dry and much better for shopping. We don't have any place to look for fabric or books here where we live or I would look today. Have to drive at least 25 miles for the nearest stores. Our Walmart took out their fabric section, which I know wasn't the best, but at least it was something, and they did have books and I didn't have to go out of town. I have my son working on getting my pictures on my Photobucket site. I don't know why I can't get it to work, but he says he can go ahead and do it for me and afterwards will then explain to me how to do it. ... Mary Jane

Mary Jane- Yes you do have to have the ruler. Here is a site you can get both together and it cost about the same ass a book store. With gas prices it is probably less for you, LOL,

That's it for June. Did it go fast. Our quilt shop carries the pineapple book. I've flipped through it a few times. One of these days I might break down and buy it.

Mary Jane I have been meaning to ask you what you use for a quilting frame. I believe you hand quilt you quilts. Mine is coming along slowly. If it stays as hot as it is today it might come along faster. It is set up in our family room in the basement and the basement is feeling pretty good right now.
