    Flax seeds

Do any of you know what I can substitute for flax seeds? I know that I can use flax seed in place of eggs, but what can I use in place of flaxseeds? I have a bread recipe that I am dying to try, but it calls for flaxseeds and I don't have any. Also, have any of you used millet flour? Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Sunflower seeds might work. Allergic to wheat, so the wheat germ won't do. Thanx!!

Sesame seeds would also work as long as the recipe doesn't call for ground flax seeds. Using whole flax seeds doesn't do your body any good anyway as you have to break through the seed coat to get the nutrients and the seeds are too small, so they generally just pass through your digestive tract/intestines.
