There's a website for book swapping. You can use it if you're an avid reader, or if you want to swap out your cookbooks, or to get gifts for friends, etc. It's paperbackswap.com. On the site, a paperback or hardback is worth 1 point, and an audiobook is 2 points. To get started, you create a username and password. When you list 9 books you are willing to part with, you will receive 2 credits to begin swapping. If someone requests one of your books, you send it to them through the media mail rate----usually a little over $2---and when they receive it and mark it received, you will get a credit for a book. I love it! If any of you do join, put down that you heard about the site through Glory68, and I'll get a credit for referring you. Then you can do the same with your friends and so on. If you don't earn credits quickly enough, you can buy them for $3.45. You can also create a "wish list" of books you are looking for and when your turn comes up and the book comes available, you will be notified. What could be better?
