 yup nothing like trying to co-oridinate your 'accessories' LOL  at least it's sky blue... could be one of those fancy neon colors... now what the heck would someone wear with hot pink??? LOL

i dont mind ironing, but then again, i dont have much to iron anyhow.  just our western shirts.... and if i'm quick enough on the dryer, sometimes i dont even have to iron them! :)

well, bread is finally in the pans, pie is in the oven, and should be ready to come out when the bread needs to go in, made some cookie dough, think i might have supper figured out. one load in the dryer, one on the line. and think i might have to throw in at least one more today...

then it's weedwhack the yard, and then mow (again, dang dandelions kept sprouting up... they are basically all i'm cutting lately!  but i let a bunch go to seed, so am trying to stay on top of them again, or else i will be in deep doo-doo with all the weeds!)  then what? oh yeah, the dog. have to get ready to clip him later... i just hope the sedation works and we can get it done!

ohhh man, i just saw a question on the side about cloth shower curtains... i guess that makes two loads i have to do today.. the kids have decided that it is easier to wipe their dirty hands on the curtain than wash them and find the towel.  sigh. kids, arent they grand??  and since i will be in the bathroom, i might as well clean it.  it's tiny so wont take me long, only  ten or fifteen minutes tops.

well they are fighting again (the chicklets that is) so i'd best go and intervene before there is bloodshed today... i dont mind the fighting, but i am not cleaning up the floor after they are finished killing each other!  LOL

Crea, we are going as far as Kapuskasing, that is André's hometown. Born and raised there, he was a bad dude when he was young.  One time he went trick or treating carrying a gun,  dressed like Davy Crockett it scared some people but in those days we would think of hurting someone.

We'll be gone a week and I'll try and post from my BIL. He is just like André always joking.

Do you know what I did today.....I worked 3 hours, I wanted to try it and it went well,  I feel fine just as if I had no surgery.  I worked for my favourite lady and her 3 dogs, you should have seen the reception I got from the dogs wow dogs are so friendly when they love you. Of course I brought them treats as usual.

Anica, what are we going to do with the price of gasbeing so high, I'll get a wheelbarrow and have André wheel me around, and there would be enough room for the groceries.

Our son are close in age, in August our youngest DS will be 38 that is 3 kids in three years. I was young than and could handle it, now I couldn't.

Yooper as you can see I worked 3 hours today and everything is fine, I can do it I feel great.

Katie, we haven't been on the 401 for a very long time, we always take the back county roads at least you have something to see and can stop whenever we want to. Strawberries over vanilla ice-cream is so yummy.

Hi Cathy , thanks for your help with the puter, it was so simple and I couldn't figure it out. That is why we need the younger people to help us older folks.

As you know we are leaving early Sunday morning for a long trip probably a 10-12 hours. We bought a cooler that you can plug in the car, no need for ice which will be nice.

Our holiday is July 1st, I have my flags out, proud to be a Canadian.

Hi Sharon  at least once a day we've been having T/Storms, I think it 's the high humidity that is causing it.

Have a question for you ....when lots of people will quit driving due to high gas prices, where will the money come from for our road repairs? 

Hi Cookie, it will be nice to have Lance home, give him some of the work and you sit back and have a boat gas and you know what I'll join you.

Cookie I hear that when you shear alcapas the fleece is so soft, I can imagine a sweater made out of their fleece so soft and warm.

All the things you do Cookie is incredible, are you taking any vitamins that give you extra energy? Please share with us, the way you work you must fall asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow.

Hi Ann, I will be thinking about you while I'm gone, don't worry about getting your rings off. I couldn't get one of mine off and the nurse put tape around it. The rest of my jewelry I took off, earings necklace and rings.

Hi Wendy, jobs are really bad today, my DIL is out of work and my DS will be laid off soon.  I also collect rain water in my barrel for my flowers, they love it. Wishing the best for your DD.

 YF, if i sat down, i just might not get up again!!  hahahaha  steve is doing better, i got another clot out yesterday, and the swelling has finally started coming down, so i'm thinking that might be the last of the clots... hoping anyhow.  when the critters are sheared this year, i'm sending in my fiber (i found a place out on saltspring i think i might try... she sounds really nice, and was helpful)  i cannot wait to make things with the yarn!  it is supposed to be as soft as cashmere and hypoallergenic... so if you have problems with wool and such, then this is the fiber for you :)  i try to take my stress multivitamin and then calcium/magnesium with 5-HTP and silica at night...  but that is only when i can stomach them... when things get this stressful i have a hard time eating and then taking the vitamins just upsets my stomach more... funny you mentioned sleep though, i sure could use some right now!

how are you feeling now that you've worked??? and i mean bodily?? you didnt do too much did you??? i know you must feel so much better though, getting back out there!

i just got out of the pool with my granddaughter......she is wearing me out today!! lol

marilyn, my dog is a jack russell/ mini shauzer and an akita/siberian husky..........the king of hair!!! i cannot keep up with his shedding!!!!!!!

I made the curry potatoes for supper.  It was a recipe that Crea had posted a while back on the favourite recipes thread.  They were delicious.  Not too spicey.  I'll definately be making them again.

I made some biscuits too to have with the strawberries.  But now I'm too full to have a shortcake.  Dh already ate 2 or 3 of the biscuits with his supper.  Now he is out checking for the potato bugs on the plants and picking more berries.

I think we are going into town later.  Still need to pick up a card for the wedding and a few other things.  So now I have to finish the dishes and get ready.
